3rd Season Episode Discussion

Just saw episode 3. Wasn't much of a funny episode but it was interesting.

It seems Tiffannia decides to go to the magic kingdom of Tristain with Louise, Siesta and Saito to meet the princess Henrietta. Tiffannia then joins the kingdom of tristain as Henrietta's cousin and later on reveals herself in front of them that she's a Half Elf. From what we were told, a half elf possesses better magic compared to a commoner in the magic kingdom as well as we got to see how Tiffannia really saved Saito's life. Its revealed that just when Saito was about to be hit but a burst of flaming arrows, derflingler(Saito's sword) teleports Saito into a forest where Tiffannia uses up her life ring in order to recover Saito from death.

We also got to know a little about Tiffannia's past with the elfs, and it seems that the majority of the elfs in her time were seen as bad dark elfs who use evil magic compared to half elfs like Tiffannia. Also Tiffannia's parents have been killed too so it was pretty sad for her in the past. From the looks of things, Tiffannia is a void magic user because when Joseph opened the Pioneer music/magic box, which is said to let the other void user hear to the melody, Tiffannia has seen to react to the melody by singing and playing her instument as well as assumed to be a mage when she was with Saito in the night at the Kingdom. Therefore I would say its confirmed that Tiffannia is a void magic user even though she may or may not know it thanks to the melody. I wonder why it didn't the melody didn't affect Louise, perhaps the main reason why she wasn't led out by the melody is because she was asleep or the melody itself only affects elfs.

Other than that, Saito becomes a Chevalier thanks to obtaining his gandalf runes back and later on gains a celebration from the magic academy of Tristain. A Chevalier is the same as becoming a Knight of one who will fight to protect the princess and those who are close to them. We also got to see more about the Villains, Sheffield and Joseph who seem to plan and kill or capture Saito and Louise seeing as they are also both Void User and Familiar.

From the looks of the other 2 Kingdoms other than Tristain, it seems those Kingdoms are looking to gain control over Albion but nothing much is known about that so far. Also, Henrietta seems to know about the threat or villains Sheffield and Joseph who may have plans to attack the Kingdom of Tristain at any time but all we know from Sheffield and Joseph is the fact that they want to capture or get rid of Louise and Saito first seeing as they are both Void user and Familiar. Who knows, they might even go for Tiffannia seeing as she too is a Void user but so far, we haven't seen Joseph or Sheffield really planning to attack Tristain yet.

Next episode looks good, It looks like Tiffannia has decided to enroll in the magic academy which will make Louise Jealous at times hehe. Or if Tiffannia isn't enrolling in the magic academy yet, then she could be just sneaking in there.

Next episode should be good to look forward to. Its gonna be a blast I hope!

that episode was interesting indeed, it looks like Shefield's summoner is some form of Royalty, possibly a displaced King or such, but he could have removed himself from that position, we just dont know yet.

Tifa looks like she will go to the Academy next ep, I hope she joins and becomes a student, too bad she isnt a void familiar, but hey, I guess that doesnt really matter, she might not even be a void user for all we know yet, we know she has some form of magic from her half-elven side, which is pretty cool and shows how she brought Saito back to life

im glad Saito became a Chevalier, seems to be a good move on his side, but then again, it will probably come back to bite him in the butt as some point

how many episodes of season 3 have already been out because it seams that i must have lost some of them.i onl know about the first 3. if there are more can someone pleaze send me over the adress from where he or she downloads them? pleaze??

You know, we should be prepared and expect this to get darker as it proceeds, (kinda off topic) with refering to Avatar: the last airbender, the story IS based upon a world magic exist after all, in which the main character is holding this this tremendous power to themselves, and so on . . .

I have to say, as a person who love mages, part of me is anticipating more than what they did in "avatar the last airbender" where they (probably) can solve the problem easily with suddent trumph card (the lion turlte hinting aang how to take away other's bending abilities and the so conviniently located rock that opened up Aang's blocked chakra passageway so he can go into the avatar state) *I know I'm REALLY off topic*.

I'd expect the kind of story with a more convincing progregs.

Saying that out loud, I think I'd be expecting some angered avatar fans' replies . . . and yes, I am an avatar fan myself, but to tell you the truth, I liked how avatar ended in general . . . the epic fight and all but I still felt like I missed something, probably because I didnt knew what really happened to Zuko's mother.

In this third season, I'd hope they're making the story in such a way that it doesnt have an "ambiguos ending" kinda thing. Because in my oppinion, a story not told in whole is not a story well told, so I'd really like to see . .maybe a continuation like season 4? No OVA, no specials, no movie, but just season 4.

@alex1 phang3 Its nice to see you talk about avatar: the last airbender and true, it is a good series and all, but lets try and stay on topic for now. Id say both the avatar and Zero no tsukaima and similar in a way with both having the themes of magic into it but lets just stay on topic. If you want to discuss about the avatar, then there should be a avatar:the last airbender discussion somewhere in another thread.

Cause we need on, its getting quite interesting as of late with the introduction of the "Little Queen" and wondering what that exactly means and all *damnit I went of topic again*

Yeah I know, but the point is that maybe Zero no Tsukaima will become eventually more like what I mentioned, they're similar but I wouldn't want to see that kinda ending like avatar (reference) on Zero no Tsukaima.

And btw, did anyone notice they're using more still scenes/partly still scenes in the anime?
