Just Noticed this on Wiki. Maby its Nothing but they could actualy be a Second Series sooner or later. If Funimation has announced that the license to Utawarerumono Has gone to them. Makes me Think why would they take the License? if there isn't any new Series to come. Cos it seems kinda Pointless buying somthing that isnt going to do anything. See Qoute below* ***The American rights to the Utawarerumono anime were initially held by ADV Films, who completed a full DVD release of entire series. In July 2008, Funimation announced that the license to Utawarerumono (and other titles formerly held by ADV) had transferred to them.*** It would be cool if there was to be a second series or somthing of Utawarerumono. |

At this moment, I would say no. Funimation also received the right home video, broadcast, digital, and merchandising rights in North America and other regions (supposedly English speaking regions) for other anime that clearly have no plan for second seasons. Here is the full list according to Anime News Network: Quote:
I do believe it would be extremely unlikely that Kanon will have a 3rd remake in the near future (Although, that would be really nice if they successfully did it) Quote:
