Fruits Basket Manga Discussion - Page 7

Well, I'm pretty much a n00b at Fruits Basket manga and manga in general. I have watched the whole anime, but today I saw that Borders book store and saw that they had the Fruits Basket manga. Having heard that the anime ended at around the 7th volume, I bought the 8th volume. Looking at the first few pages, I do like the manga. I'll probably just buy more volumes later on, so I'll probably frequent this thread alot.

well i thought the whole story in general was pretty cute. though tohru did start to get on my nerves cause come on no one is that sweet and caring. but other than that i thought it was good.

Gosh I Love the manga, fruits basket is pretty close to my heart. It was the first manga I ever read, I'm actually sad its over. The ending was sweet enough, but I heard a rumor that Natsuki Takaya was going to kill Tohru! Although I'm glad she didn't die.... I think I've read each fruits basket 's volumes at least 15 times

=] Oh and I didnt like the Anime, it kinda ended with the first exciting volume which was 6 right? Of course if they made it longer it would be like Naruto and be like 100 episodes and I dont think it would've made it. 50 maybe?

I like the plot of this manga. It's going deeper toward the end. I like the way the mangaka tells about the background of each characters. Almost all characters have a dark and tragic background.
And I'm a liitle bit disappointed the ending. Why they can forgive Akito so easily. Ah, that's manga, can't b complained.

the manga containe alot of things that isn't shown in the anime, i like the manga and i was Surprised of all the secrets of each character.

I am on the 19th book but i haven't finished it yet! So far so good and getting very interesting especially when everyone @ home relates each other by the yr we r born....
ican so relate to the characters....lol

indeed, the way the story flows in the last mangas are great...i'm so sad that they haven't used that in the anime

i watch the anime only...one of the saddest anime i watch(i think air is sadder)...i like the anime and i want to read the manga too,but my wallet is nearly empty...so, i want to ask you what happened to tohru love story??
