Why am I exposing the hoax?

(By the way, the video I used for this is the original anime trailer from back in 2000.)

1. The staff who were resonsible for creating the four Inuyasha movies have stated publicly in multiple news articles and interviews that there are CURRENTLY NO PLANS to create a 5th movie.

2. I trust Japanese websites, 2ch.net, my issues of Weekly Shounen Sunday magazine, and Japanese blogs far more than any single USA-based magazine.

3. The Inuyasha manga community is far more informed of every piece of Inuyasha related news than you could ever be. We have people that scour the Japanese blogosphere and imageboards/chatboards for IY information on a daily basis and the existence of a 5th movie is something that has never been substantiated. In fact, the rumor was disproven ever since early 2005 after the fourth movie came out in Japan.

4. "Final Confrontation" has been used across Youtube for as long as the site has been in existence claiming the ending to the IY PS2 game is the 5th movie.

5. "Final Confrontation" is English. Why would the name of a movie that doesn't exist have an English title? I haven't heard any proof that a movie with that title in Japanese or English even exists.

6. Finally, there would hard evidence online and offline of the existence of a 5th movie. If it existed in Japan or was in production, the Internet would be all over it. There hasn't been a peep on any reputable English or Japanese website.

Trust me, I scanlate Inuyasha and a weekly basis and my translator, Patches, will vouch for me that there is no 5th movie nor any trailer for it.

hey fool, obviously you dont read well, i said that it was a tv special that the creators slapped the name movie 5 on to make somemore money off of because tv specials arent aired in america. second, because they dont air tv specials most people havent seen the end special and thats why the creators put the title of movie 5 on it so it would be distributed over the net more successfully. and third, you such a fool, i already posted that its technically a tv special but to keep with the flow of distributing it over the net we are calling it movie 5. many people were not satisfied with the end of inuyasha so this is supposed to remedy the horrible ending of the inuyasha series so stop being a bloody prick thats killing the moment for everyone else. and yes that was a yatzee crowshah staly rant for all you zero punctuation fans out there.

I have never heard about a fifth movie, nor do I think there will be one, after what I heard they stopped the project of making it...And please do not call people a "fool" or something else, insulting is not a good way to "win" fights

im not trying to win a fight, im just saying that if my previous posts were read i would be ovious that i said that the 5th movie was actually the tv special that was the end of the inuyasha series and that the creators called it movie 5 so that i would be distributed on the web, and since that didnt happen i decided i would so i dont appreciate people saying that im wrong when they didnt even take the time to read what i had already posted.

You do realize there have been discussions all over the internet about this for years. There have been people saying that there has been an OVA in the works for years. There has also people have been rumoring that a new movie was coming out since the 4th one came out. There also have been rumors of a new series. Thats obviously a lie. Everything i have mentioned is just a rumor and thats is all it is. What you say isn't new. I have heard this before but no one can back this up at all. I cant say that what your saying isn't true but can you back up what you say? This would be interesting if this was actually true. I cant take what people say on the internet as true fact, considering most the people on the internet have no idea what there talking about.

i will look for the site where i got the info, but like i said i knew that it was a tv special and if you read back a page or 2 you will see that i said it was a tv special that was named movie 5 by the creators so that they could make more money, so pleople would stop asking for a better ending and so that the special would be distributed because it wasnt going to be aired in other countries
