They didn't say that officially, but it is presumed that is the case.

Just finished the anime. WTF.... so confused lol Are the episodes supposed to be just insanely random?

lol, they are not in chronological order if you watched them in the order they were aired. =p It sort of helps if you know that before you watch it. =p I thought it was really unique, and I really didn't think it was that confusing. I actually think the show made more sense that way. XD

I remember the time I saw the show xD I was spamming in the anime section asking why the hell the show didn't make any sense xD I think whiteday26 helped me out... this brings back memories..

Ok =D so it wasn't just me that was wondering if my downloads were just random =P I did enjoy the series quite a bit, just didn't like the kinda rushed ending. Hopefully season 2 won't take too long to arrive

I didn't feel it was rushed. All the main points and themes were touched on so I was satisfied. =p I did wish there was more just because it was so entertaining though. XD

Hmm, the main points were touched on, but for me it all just seemed so sudden. Perhaps I just hadn't got used to Haruhi being a spaz >.< Either way, 12 episodes was way too short.

Maybe you find it so sudden, since the anime actually has 14 episodes, not 12.
