any information on exactly when season 2 will air? clannad just finished up so im guessing begining week of april but the general census with this series is things never seem to go right :\

I heard a confirmation from kyoto animation that they’re releasing the 2nd season sometime in fall or winter this year............that's great news for everyone, i have seen the series a couple of weeks ago and its great, like evangelion or cowboy bebop, which those have remakes to live action and rebuilds, lets hope that this stuff shock us again, lets see what highdef suzumiya can offer to us.

We can finally see whether Kyon goes insane this time...

I'm fully expecting him to end up in a straitjacket by the end of the series.

i dont think i can believe anything unless someone posts proof behind this, because from what i've read there only re airing the original series in april and that kyoto already has another project underway atm

Suzumiya begs for a 2nd season. There are a lot of loose ends to tie up; easily enough for a full second season, IMHO. Not to mention all of the supporting characters development as well.

With good writing, I think this series could go 50+ episodes without becoming boring. There's Kyon's Esper Organization to develop, Mikuru's reason for time traveling three years into the past, the reason Yuki's watching over Haruhi...

There's so much story left to tell.

I have to admit, I'm pretty skeptical when a anime series gets a lot of hype. But Suzumiya really delivered.

I have heard that the first episode of Season 2 will air on the Twenty-first of May, in the year 2009. The first episode was supposed to be in season 1 but they didnt air it.

This was however from a friend so im not sure.
