not really, bleach are doing fillers because their source of manga has ran out while they are making the anime.

on the other hand Higurashi original still has story arcs that are not covered by the anime, and their source of story is still plenty.

To put it in a simpler context: bleach keeps running out of gold to make coins, so they keep using copper until their supply of gold is refilled by manga author making more mangas, while higurashi still has plenty of gold to make coin out of.

I've read some info about the third season and they said it'll be call by the 2006 game "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Rei" And they said that the third season will probably not be related to the previous seasons.

e.g. Take Da Capo as an exemple.
The 1st 2 seasons (Da Capo & Da Capo season 2) aren't directly related to the seasons 3 & 4 (Da Capo II & Da Capo II season 2)

Does anyone else think it would have been better if was left at the first season? The second season was good and all but, I thought that it was a bit of a let down because it explained a lot of things that I liked being a mystery.

I know what you mean but it was too much of a mystery . . . There were to many unexplainable chapters . . . It was almost senseless . . .

I would like a third season as long they can come up with a good story and a little more blood than the second season. I think the second season was somewhat of a let down...

yeah, same here... Funny how this site is THE first place where I even heard of the 3rd season! I'm also a bit confused - according to this very site this third season has 28 episodes, and *all* of them have been downloaded at some point from the mirrors. But all the episodes seem to be offline, and there are no torrents on isohunt - no offense, but what's the deal here?
