Hay guys! I was just taking a look at the member total on this forum, and I wanted to post what I beleive is a milestone for us here:

We have now reached 21,000 threads with almost 250,000 posts. We have over 125,000 registered members (most of which probably signed up to download from the main site), and we have about 8,000 active members.

I don't know about you, but I think this is a great achievement! Let AnimeA continue to grow, and may its presence be known.

lol..that is really nice...but this 8000 active members are the members of the forum? or the site?....cause i can't think of 8000 active members here 0.o
anyway, yeah, let's make animea grow even more, and may the good users come to post in the forums^^

Yup, the forums seem to been doing very well. :) Hopfully things continue to improve. The active members stat has gone down from about 12,000 to 8,000 since the 25 post rule has been put into effect, but on the flip side we have had more members posting regularly since then which is a definite plus. :)

How exactly is 'active' defined?

I am not 100% positve, but I am pretty sure an 'active member' is a member who has logged on recently. (like in the past month, or somthing like that.)

....anyway, I think this is something we need to celebrate....It is infact good that so many are part of animea, but that means there are 117,000 non-active members. That also means only about 6.4% are active.

that is great. i didnt know that there were that many active posters, cause ive only conversed with a couple hundred, but the stats look great, lets help the animea universe grow and grow!!

and i think ill just have a scotch to celebrate, i think champagne is disgusting
