I wouldn't call what I have a fear of heights more so a fear of falling. I have no problem climbing a ladder or anything secure but I get real scared if I'm carrying something or cant use both of my hands like if I was standing on a high ladder and tying to do another job like painting or washing a window or put boxes on a 15foot high shelf in the store room at work

My conciousness would no longer exist and everything I have one in my life has been meaningless? For many people that is an unacceptable proposition that they would find terrifying just ceasing to be I don't think anyone can even imagine not existing and not being able to understand or comprehend it fuels fear Or what about the after life what if I chose the wrong religion or what if I haven't led a good enough life do I end up damned for eternity? Another fear raised by death is uncertainty of the welfare of those left behind if your the a single parent your main concern would be what would happen to your children after you died and this protective instinct would drive your fear of death
