What do you fear? - Page 3

Well there is a big difference between fearing something and being afraid of another thing... So for me I'm afraid of lots of things, like ghosts, big spiders and snakes (because I have never met one)... I think those are silly things to be afraid of, but that doesn't help me from not being afraid, but I can be cured from them....
But the more serious things are things that I fear.... I fear not being accepted by other people for who I am.. And I also have a fear of not being worth anything to someone else... I feel I don't have anything special to give so I fear not fiting in in my surroundings....
I guess why I fear these things is that I don't know if I'll ever get an answer to these questions...

But you do have something to give Hamara-chan. Yourself which is one of the most precious things a person can give.

Spiders and snakes don't bother me.Animals including spiders and snakes don't bother me. I got used to them years ago. On the other hand people do frighten me sometimes. I don't like crowds either, they can really frighten me.

I fear the arachnids, all of them.....once I wanted to have breakfast and this long legged horror was sitting in a corner.....since then I always check these damn corners......*shiver*

Another person who fears spiders, to the point where it freaks me out just saying the name. I'm fine with high places themselves, just getting close to the edge freaks me out. I'm also afraind of being alone, yes...
So if I was trapped between the edge of a cliff and a horde of spiders all by myself, I'd be totally screwed.

I guess I really fear being alone....and my loved ones dying....but that's gonna happen someday so I'll have to learn to accept it.

Not only that but getting old...becoming so frail and weaker when I was so healthy and strong XD...it's just scary if you ask me.

When first moved here I didn't know anything about spiders and snamles. Now I know they are my neoighbors and serve a useful purpose. Twice a year in the spring and fall Tarauntulas come out for the mating season. I quite often find them in the kitchen on the back porch and pretty much all around. the only spider I'm really afraid of is the Black Widow which grows bigger than my thumb.

I had to lay down to take this picture from about 15cm away. This Tarantula is bigger than my hand and the bite is less toxic than a bee sting.

You have touched my greatest fear. Rhun is 63 and I am 45 I know that one day I shall have to face being without him. I feel very fortunate that he maintains a very active outdoor life.

dudes: i fear death less then i fear cephalopods

they have eyes better than people, they are the most intelligent animals, they can use primitive tools, there are ones with elbows! and others 30m long with massive hooks all over their arms and others with vicious neurotoxins. an oil rig sent some deep sea camera-robots down and they found massive octopi (with elbows!) and they just stared malevolently at the cameras. they are the merciless killers of the sea! i give the human race maybe 5 years tops before they learn to fly. then its over. the revenge for a million calimari dinners is coming. also: oh god they talk by changing colours! even worse: they have green blood and three hearts! how do you kill something with three hearts?! i think i need to lie down now.

Silly boy. You kill an octopus with a special atomic submarine and electricity. Only I think you better move away from the ocean if you live near one. With all those tentacles they're liable to crawl into your bed and squeeze you wanting to do this and that.
