CD Japan 2008 half year anime DVD sales rankings

CD Japan has published their top 100 selling titles in a number of
categories for the first six months of 2008. The listing for anime DVDs
(region 2) is here:

So the EVA movie remake was number 1. As I go through the list I find that
the first DVD that shows up on the list of all the R2 DVDs that I bought
during the first half of the year is one of the "Spice and Wolf" DVDs at
number 29. In fact, the only series that showed up from all of the anime
DVDs that I bought on a monthly basis from January until June are "Spice and
Wolf", "Kanokon", "Ef" and the final Gurren Lagann DVD.

Obviously, CD Japan shouldn't make their inventory stocking plans based upon
what I buy. <L>
