The irony being, while I posted an on-top reply in your off-topic post, 99% of the post complaining or responding to you from regulars were off topic! (Except for "Speed Racer", which of course was an anime. Any dicussion thereof is, as we know, holy and blameless.) (And yes, I know we referred to Darky as a WNK, but similar patterns do eventually emerge, depending on the depth of the wound and the tenacity of "recovery".) And I haven't forgotten about Sea > Wasp with his blanket absolution, that was nice, too.[/color] For the record, while I had no interest in your review (since I instantly lose interest in anything Star Wars related the moment someone bashes the prequels), I felt the level of vitriol being thrown around here was extremely excessive. This wasn't a matter of life or death; and RAAM doesn't and never will get enough traffic that it's worth getting upset about off-topic postings. I feel some people are being excessively anal, even if I do agree in principle that completely anime-unrelated things ought not to be posted. - Blade (...and who fricking cares if someone calls it a forum?) |

Only by blindly following rigid rules of behavior can you have a truly functioning anarchy, where all can participate if they behave in the approved manner. I want to find the original picture to possess it as a collector, and have for some years. You are comparing apples and oranges, and really, I would've thought better of you. "Forum" is a word, and as has been pointed out repeatedly, its English definition would indeed include a USENET newsgroup. Now, a "webforum" is something else again. But in either case, is it really worth people getting cranky over? - Blade |
