| Guest | "Episodes #167-200 - Japanese Dolby Digital Audio - English Subtitles - Uncut Edition - 4:3" I assume this set on eBay (there are about four sellers) is a Chinese copy as the vendor claims it is factory produced. Some for sell seem to be obvious copies of other DVD's. Can anyone tell me if the video quality is any better than the VKLL fansubs in .avi format that I already have? |

Anime News Network did a short 'expose' on it, emphasizing this was the Amazon corporate and not a third party reseller. Later, Anime News Network updated their report indicating that Amazon was still selling the item, but had relabeled it as "Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: The Complete Bootlegged Boxset." http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-05-17/amazon-sells-sailor-moon-bootleg-as-official-boxset As far as I can tell, Amazon is no longer selling the item at all. The item on e-Bay looks just like picture of the former Amazon page shown in the ANN article. Mata ato de, Phil Yff |

At least Amazon finally got it right when they retitled it the "Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: The Complete Bootlegged Boxset." Hopefully those DVDs for sale do not include lead pain, poison household pets, explode on the ground or other things that seem to be associated with cheap Chinese products. |

Toei took their ball home before ADV even got a CHANCE to subtitle it, and prior to that, Cloverway wasn't touching it with a ten-meter cattle prod. -- This is a test of the Emergency Ass Dance System. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The Eternal Lost Lurker www.lurkerdrome.com |

It was a rather blatant bootleg. It duplicated the Japanese cover, overlaying some information but retaining the Japanese price of 178,000 yen (over $150). Mata ato de, Phil Yff |
