New F/SN Movie to be released

I found some wonderfull news to AA F/SN Fans

Type-Moon mega-hit Fate/stay night is to receive a further anime adaptation in the form of a theatrical movie edition.

The announcement comes obliquely by way of the opening of the official movie site, though it is devoid of content.

Just what direction the story will take is likely to be the immediate object of interest, with the 2006 anime and the original visual novel apparently having tied things up already, though there is likely ample material remaining in the many followup works…

what the FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK!(sorry for the word,i am just too excited in this topic)i hope this is very very true and final. wooooohoooooooo!!!!!!!!!.....I only finished watching it again last week and i already miss saber. I was already waiting for a continuation when i first finished watching it! OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD! is this really for real?????????????

lol, well I just quoted some reliable info and Anime New Network also expect the same since they saw it on Type MooN Web Page ( in Jap ), tho no press statement has been made up to date , and I shall post here if there is any additional news.

So far this is very possible :3

Rumor/Speculation has been going around that it will be based on the UBW route.

Which I hope it is. I'd love to see Heaven Feel's get a conversion (Since Fate got the anime and UBW the manga) however, they would butcher HF too much to be good for a movie since HF largely deals with Rape, Torture and Penis Worms.

it's very very nice of geneon/type moon to make a movie out of the visual novel ubw and heaven's feel,but it would be best if they make a continuation of fate/stay night instead because the ending is very depressing,and i want to know what happens to saber next i feel like im a part of what happened that it even let tears out of my eyes^_^

yeah I also hope for the same ,
tho since it is a theatrical movie and rumors does mention that it will be picking up from the end of anime and I dont espect them to touch any main arc ether, not confirmed tho o.o

Confirmed. Type-moon have announced the movies release in japan (obviously) on the 23rd of jan 2010. And yes, it will be following the UBW storyline.
