Who Is Archer?

Hi everyone.
Today at school I talked with a friend who has just finished watching F/SN and we talked about who is archer, and (maybe others already realized this)( i didn't play the game or read the novels so maybe it is said in there i dont know :P ) he had a good point:

does anyone agree? or does anyone have a diffrent idea of who is archer?

I asked the same Question when I saw It.So far I figured out most of the Servants.But Archer was a real mystery.

Saber-Arther
Lancer-Cu Chulan
Berserker-Hercules
Rider-Medusa
Caster-Medea
Assasin-Sasake

But Archer left only a few clues to his Identity.I study Mythology and Legends.And I could not tell Who Archer Is.I wonder if He's A hero or a legend.Hmmm....Any one have any Ideas?

True but I figured it out by the way Archer Guided him towards realizing his true power and the fact that he was disgusted by his weakness and lack of battle sense

I'd imagine so maybe he was very naive maybe this caused him to make a mistake in the suture that he bitterly regretted so he felt it would be best to ensure the mistake never happened

Today at school I talked with a friend who has just finished watching F/SN and we talked about who is archer, and (maybe others already realized this)( i didn't play the game or read the novels so maybe it is said in there i dont know :P ) he had a good point: Spoiler shirou is archer! a. archer knew very well about shirou's abilities b. archer knew alot on everyone during the whole show c. archer knew what was going to happen ( well, he only knew about that he was going to die vs. berserker, which was obvious lol) d. when shirou formed the 2 swords, they apeared just like archer, but when he did it with other things it just glowed meaning that the sowrds were summoned the same way. that's all I could remmeber from what he said does anyone agree? or does anyone have a diffrent idea of who is archer? __________________ Yes.
