Death Note Ending

I'm sure many Death Note fans have already finished the series months ago, like I did, but the dubbed series just ended on Adult Swim. I was both happy and sad, because I thought that a new anime would air on Adult Swim and I was sad because, well, it's the last episode and Light died (even if I did watch the last episode in both subtitled and dubbed versions about 1,000 times). So the next Saturday, I watched the new dubbed episode of Bleach, and then waited for the new anime. There was no new anime! I was pissed off, and I'm seriously hoping that they won't rerun Death Note for a third time!

Any opinions?

I didn't like the ending of death note either. It's crappy, God I hoped that Light wold had a beater plan. Anyway I didn't see the dubbed version so. . . .

Thats what happens when you try to be god. I liked the ending. Near outsmarted Light after all.

I was thoroughly disappointed with how it ended.
It was pretty depressing.

It ended with the good guys winning like always. I think it would of been pretty cool if Light got away with his demonly deeds.

True, but in many series, whether it's anime or not, you think about the good guys vs. bad guys. In Death Note, it's hard to understand who's good and who's bad. Just think about it...

L, Near, and Mello are trying to stop Light from continuing to kill hundreds of people.

Light his trying to make the world better by killing criminals...

So who's bad? Who's Good? It's all in your opinion.

On August 23 Adult Swim will be airing the first episode of Seirei no Moribito, most likely replacing Death Note. No more reruns of Death Note FTW?

Oh well, Light was doing good at first by killing criminals to clense the world but later on he went too far, getting the authoritys on him as well as having to dispose them as well. L, Mello and Near were the real good characters at that point. Light is more of an an Anti-hero being good and bad.

I loved the ending. personnally light got what he deserved. And it was his own fault for being so cocky and relying on mikami, and then eventually ryuk to save him.
