I know that there will alway be another character that is similar to L.But it depends upon image.The Story will take a turn when L is died..anyhow i am just looking forward..

I Wouldn't Have Anything Against If the Series Would End With L's Death And Yagami Raito's [Yagami Light's] Victory... But as Always the Good Has 2 Prevail...
I Think The Original L Was the Best. He Had Something Special That Made Him So Interesting. Mybe That He Had This Emotionless Mask, where He Newer Showe Any Feelings, When He Was Talking About How High The % Is, of Raito [Light] Being Kira... [Except For The Time They Were Figthing] Nia [Near] Was Just a Bad Copy of the Original L. And It Made so Angry That a Child Like Nia [Near], Surpassed the Genius Yagami Raito [Yagami Light] in the End.
And Mero [Mello] Wasn't Even an Interesting Chara 4 Me...
Nothing 2 Say About Him...

In the Death Note manga, a kid who picked up the Note used a "Death Eraser" to erase the names of those he previously killed. They sprung back to life as expected. The Death Eraser wasn't mentioned in the DN anime. I haven't finished the DN manga so I don't know if it was of any use after that part where the kid used it. If I had it, I'd use it to revive L.

Yeah, I was really sad when L died, even though it was obvious that he and Light would die...the series was just too dark for it to be any other way. By the way, I think someone asked what happened to Misa? I'm pretty sure she killed herself at the end...She's standing on the edge of a building and closes her eyes, plus if you looked carefully when they showed her and Light's lifespans, they were the same, so I'm guessing she died at nearly the same time.

Such a tragic and beautifully dark show.

I Really Was Dark. But It Still Makes Me Irritated, The Death of Raito [Light] That Is... I Just Hoped He Would Successed, But That's Not the Point In This Thread. But I Really Don't Really Think That Nia [Near] and Mero [Mello] Took Over the Role of Eru [L], He Was Just Something Irreplacable... About Misa... [Anime] As You Said... She Appears Standing Outside the Safety Rail on the Edge of a Skyscraper Looking Into the Sunset. Her Suicide is Neither Seen Nor Mentioned, Although This Scene Could Imply She Is Preparing 2 Commit Suicide. [Manga]According to How to Read, Misa Loses Her Memories Related to Ssing the Death Note and Retains Her Love for Raito [Light]. Misa Commits Suicide One Year Later on February 14, 2011. The Cloaked Woman Who Appears at the End of the Manga is Not Misa, she is an Unnamed Follower of Kira. Misa's Fate is Not Shown in the Manga at all; she Was Last Seen Staying at the Teito Hotel.
