He shudnt mess with the police like that. The police always knows whos lieing and whos telling the truth. Telling L that he might be Kira without conscious was a load of bull. And Near cudnt have caught Light so easily, the author got bored and he rushed the 2nd half.

If i was Kira i would still make all the deaths heart attacks but i just wont give the cops a clue where i am at.

I'd sell it on ebay :P then give the buyer an empty book that says "DEATH NOTE" not the real one!.

Still its a dangerous item that can instantly kill anyone if you wrote the person's name in it so i wonder why would you sell it on Ebay? i mean if you kept it in possession and don't use it for the wrong reasons then good, however selling it to another person... who knows what that other person would use it for in their life.

@Maucho lol smart move. The person who buys the fake deathnote would be pretty annoyed and besides he can't kill you seeing as he hasn't seen your face nor does hes have the real deathnote.

I wonder, for those who watch code geass, would you prefer geass powers or a deathnote since their both superior in a way? it'd be nice to have both but if you can only choose one... which would it be and why?
