do you mean would you kill L? Cause in my opinion anybody is capable of killing another, all you need is opportunity and generally a motive, but not always the latter.

I could swear there are several threads just like this but since I can't trust my memory here goes:

If I were kira would I kill L? absolutely, this is my survival we are talking about, it's kill or be killed. At this point being recognized as kira means I am already guilty of mass-murder and if I were to confess I would be sentenced to death. I imagine I could just stop everything and forfeit ownership of the notebook but that doesn't seem like a logical choice either, when you look at it by eliminating L you are greatly increasing your chances of success, so why wouldn't you

Well, if i was Light i would kill L but am not tht smart as light so..i'd need plans...to get to him....and just after writing hes name after seeing him there wont be L anymore..so i guess maybe...maybe not.^-^'

If I am a Kira, maybe I can't kill L because I cannot trace his location, see his face and know his name. All because I am weak at deductions.

Same here.. I can't kill L because I don't know how to start an investigation to trace him and know his name. If i am Kira, then I will be the first to die.
