L can be playful sometimes but I don't think he will use the DN like Yagami did. He'll just burn it or put it in a museum.

I belive that L would of used it like Light in the beginning but go mad as well. Though maybe he would just burn the thing right off the bat??O.o

L lacks emotions ... it was easly seen through his face. Someone who lacks emotions can't have feelings for people. L was only conserved about justice. So i think he would use it just like any normal human would - test if it is real thing or not. Then when he gets a positive result, he would destroy the note knowing that someone would certainly use it for its purpose.

Not exactly correct.L does not lack emotions,he just does not know how to show them.Believe me,i know:)
