i felt Light shoulda gone out with a little more style lol...he was so awesome and then goes crazy like that...was a little disapointed...

IMO he was a spoiled rat since the beginning but yeah he's a cool character. :)

even spoiled rats deserve to go with a little grace lol =P tho i did think the shinigami chose a good spot to pull the plug...laying in the sun light that was a good ending scene for him lol...i felt sorry for the crazy blonde chick tho (yeah i am horrible with names lol) she was my favorite character =)

The anime was soft on Light compare to the movie or the manga. I like all three ending really. It's just give different perspective. In the anime, I especially like how Light, while running, came across the pure Light before the event of Death Note unfold.

ack i hadn't thought about the end or even the story being different from movie and manga...was just being lazy and only watched the series...damn i guess i have more to watch and read lol

Yeah, the manga i quite enjoy. It's a shame it only had like 13 volumes. Although the manga isn't that different from the anime.

o the manga is similar eh...o well i may check it out anyway...so is the movie that was mentioned...r they the live action movies that i saw mentioned somewhere? live action movies based off anime eh...that seems wierd to me

Considering that they gonna make Dragon Ball into live action movie, nothing surprise me anymore. But the Live Action movie for DN is not too bad. Maybe a slower pace however. And quite different.
