I would pick L of course.. It just seems obvious that he was the smarter one out of the two.

L is an Amazing character and i think he simply the definition of awesome.

But when i first watched Death note, everybody seemed to be routing for L ... obvious reasons i guess. So i wanted to be different and i always wanted Light/Kira to win, although that could never happen.

But technically Kira defeated L, so yeah.

Oh btw, my vote was Light XD

Light is Intelligent, good-looking.. (but abuses power and became evil)
L is better for me.. L is Intelligent, Good-looking, hot, cute, moe! XD
and also on the side of justice unlike yagami saying that he is justice but kills people here and there.. Overall.. L is the best!
