Anime Re-watch ?

Hi want to know ur opinion on this,on re-watching anime (same experience,value and enjoyment) and mainly what / why have you re-watched something?

For me :
1.Gungrave 4x (yup,4 times,if theres a bigger GG fan,i doubt it!)
2.Death Note 3x (thinking of re-watching it again,just so good)
3.Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu 2x
- Gits Movies 2x
4.Code Geass 1x
- Kimi ga Nozomu Eien 1x
- 5cm per second 1x
- Voices of a Distant Star 1x (make a 2nd OVA damn it)
- True Tears 1x

well an anime needs to have a ceratin overall quallity for me to watch it again,aparently Gungrave and DN have it,really spectacular works,master peices imo ... (id re-watch FMA,but my 1rst DVD is missing :S )

I haven't found many animes that I would rewatch, but here are the few that I would:
FLCL: It's short, crazy, interesting, funny, and has great music. (Also my favorite anime series)
Chobits: Hilarious with a lot of interesting stuff going on
Elfen Lied: Pretty short and captivating
Princess Mononoke: Simply beautiful

also, I'm in the middle of Zero no Tsukaima, which is an amazing series. Probably another anime series that is well worth re watching.

FMA X3 - one of my favourites
FMP Fummofu X4 - HILARIOUS!!!
Haruhi X4 = how can you not like it?
GITS SAC 1st and 2nd GIG x2 +original movie X2 - Love it, cyborgs+detective+secret govermental coverups
Busou Renkin X3 - the main guy is nuts, the main girl is also = BOOM
Utawarerumono X3 - like the main character+interesting interaction of characters
Evangelion X3 - 1st time to simlpy watch it, 2nd time to understand it, 3rd time to confirm that it is good
Black Lagoon X3 - true darkness, truly unique
Zero No Tsukaima X2 - funny
Last Exile X2 - stunning visuals, interesting world
Eureka 7 X2 - a masterpiece?maybe
Starship Operators X2 - I love SciFi
Outlaw Star X3 - funny+good plot+interesting characters
Planetes X3 - very,very deep story
GTO X3- hilarious+good story
Lucky Star X3 - funny very funny
these are the ones that I have rewatched and I have watched over 150+ anime series and movies...

I have watched Zoids New Century Zero a couple of times because of two reasons; the first that I love the Zoids used in this particular season and the second is that I love watching the battles. Also 26 episodes doesn't take too long to watch.

I definitely agree with you aca85, an anime needs a special quality that attracts the viewer and makes them want to relive that first experience over and over.

@batou : damn you really like re-watching ^^ i can barely menage to watch new animes ^^ cuz i dl about 1 anime's per day :P (slow connection 200KB/s bah!)

so far, I only re-watched Samurai Champloo..... three times....
and a few Naruto eps... because they were fun or because they were aired on german tv and I stumbled over them while I was zapping... XD

Eureka Seven 4 full times and then random episodes when in was on Adult Swim, they dubs are horrible though like most dubs
