Rep Power: 8  |  The BEST MECHa anime?!! I have been thinking that no matter what mecha anime we watch we still have one that we consider better than other mecha shows... so what is the Best mecha anime?why is it the best? For example I think the Gundam 0079 and Gundam 08th MS team are the best as they show mechas that are really possible and the plot is good and characters have their place clearly defined. I like Full Metal Panic also but it is my second most favourite mecha show... So share with me your favourite mecha anime...

Rep Power: 1132     |  Mine would be Code Geass seeing as its a mixture of deathnote smarts and wits and gundam mech action. I really like the Knightmare frames in this one especially Lancelot, Shinkiro and Guren. Thats the best mech anime I'd say followed by either Gundam 00, Macross Frontier or Gundam Seed/Destiny even though i haven't seen Gundam Seed/Destiny.

Rep Power: 175 | Well, i'm a massive fan of Gundam and have been for ages. My collection of model Gundams goes to show that =P But right now I think i'm being lured towards Code geass. ^^

Rep Power: 0  | Tengen Topaa Gurren Lagann is my favorite so far. The mechas were unique and the story was absolutely entrancing. I also like Escaflowne a lot too...probably because of the way they managed to combine mecha and fantasy together. |

Rep Power: 176 | I also have to agree on Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann being my absolute favorite mecha so far (how can you not love a mecha that can combine with any other just by piercing it's head... best episode when they first combined in Gurren Lagann), with Full Metal Panic being my second favorite.
