Rep Power: 257    |  Best Shonen Action Anime? Hi, I was just wondering about everyone's opinions on what are the best shonen action anime as they seem like the most popular genre. (naruto, bleach, one piece, etc) Please just give me your thoughts on which animes of this genre you have enjoyed watching the most and why. I'll start off: my favourite is the entire Dragon Ball (db,z,gt) series because not only were the stories interesting, but it followed practically the entire life of Goku (with some side stories) Thanks to all who post

Rep Power: 87   | Hokuto no Ken AKA Fist of the North Star. Seriously its the first major good shonen series and every other copies from it in one way or another. Its kind of Black Sabbath with metal. It the first of its kind and everyone in its genre is inspired by it in one way or another.

Rep Power: 153 | Hunter X hunter... I loved the character desing (Gon, Kurapika, Kilua, Hisoka). The plot was fine (boy looking for his father meh, but at least it wasn't about saving best friend from faggot) and the different arks offered enough variety to keep intrest up. The action scenes were fun to watch as they didn't involve just mindless flashy fighting. Well I think that's about it...

Rep Power: 0  | gintama is definitly the best. cause it's a mix of all most popular anime/drama. it's a parody that isn't ... well, mean... (i guess...) anyway, the more stuff you know the funnier it is to watch. besides, it isn't just a parody. the character design is awsome and the animation is great too. it's an anime to enjoy i love it!

Rep Power: 87 | I been looking at this thread and i dont understand how something can be considered the best when its not even finished yet. At the moment i love D.Grayman but over all Nothing beats Fist of the North Star. Just look at Ken's eyebrows, no one can beat someone with that bushy of eyebrows. Its a known fact.

Rep Power: 403 | I agree, Fist of the North star is pretty actiony. But Cowboy Bebop wins in flow of fightings, they do varies of styles. Samurai champloo, that is the best sword action I've seen
