Cosplay Help

So its Animania Sydney in 2 months and I have to start my cosplay costume but I have no ideas so I need some, the char needs to (in order of importance)

1. be male
2. be well known
3. costume wont be to expensive to make
4. costume isnt boring

hmmmm im not too sure if they allow game characters... xD
