Do you buy anime? - Page 2

The only anime I've ever bought on actual dvd is Hellsing Ultimate(which sucks cause its now discontinued in the US, with Geneon going out of business) and Elfen Lied. Though I will probably buy Devil May Cry when it comes out in the US.

As of yet, I only own the Hellsing (TV) series. I have seriously considered purchasing more, but first of all I'll need sufficient funds =P

the financial aspect is the main thing =D without it we cant get what we want unless we want to steal it from teh stores lol

I'm still fairly new to downloading anime episodes ... I only started this year, a little before I stumbled upon animea ...

so before that I used to buy all my animes vcds and then DVDs ... I got lots ...

but my cds are getting corrupted like my vcds of Sakura Diaries so I converted them into mp4 files and uploaded into the net so I can still have a copy ...

since I started downloading animes from internet, I still buy anime dvds, for one, I'm too lazy to download animes more than 26 episodes ...

second, I collect some box sets and display them on my bookshelf, I think I have 2 box sets of Chobits which were my very first all-time favorite anime

reasons I download anime from internet is to watch the new animes especially those not released in dvd formats and second if I cannot find in the stores but was recommended to me :o)

I prefer to just download them. It makes my life easier and I don't waste money on over priced DVDs.

I have one Star Wars manga, thats just about it. Dont have the money to buy this stuff, its just too expensive. Way simpler to just download anime from the web. Yes i am a bad person, pray for my soul.

before i had an awesome broadband connection, i used to buy anime

here is my list--
gunxsword (complete)$45
samurai champloo(complete) $30
chobits(complete) $65 dont know why i spent that much
Full Metal alchemist (complete + oav) $120 WTF i had to actually work for this..

And then i started downloading..
that saved up alot of money.
