Being a Lolicon doesn't makes you a Pedophile, I think Lolicon's only attracted to cute little girls while Pedophile is more extreme.

Well I do admit I like cute little anime girls . . . but I'm not inclined to be a Pedophile . . .

Lolicon is short for Lolita Complex.

Alot of it is quite sexually suggestive, though I wouldn't go so far as to say that anyone that's into it is an outright pedophile.

Anime such as Lucky Star are pretty blatant in the fact that the creators knew the whole Lolicon style would attract people, and some aspects really are sexually suggestive in it, and please no one tell me they're all 17 or something, it doesn't change the fact they all look like 8 year olds.

i think that beeing attracted to the loli anime/manga/hentai is different than beeing pedophile...
after all what you see in those is a young girls that are drawn in different style than realism....
so you are attracted to the DRAWN young girls, not real ones...
becouse it would be strange to go "kawaiii" when seeing a girl somewhere in the park walking? no body does that we go "kawaii" over the DRAWN girls becouse they are cute, not real ones...
and besides if you are a pedophile than you are sexually aroused from watching/thinking about underage girls (less than 16)...
also the pedophile is a man/woman over 18 that has entered in sexual relationship with underage kid or sexually assaulted them...or watching and storing REAL life kiddy porn...
if you watch loli, go "moe" and "kawaii" over loli art than you are not a pedophile you are just a lolicon - someone who is attracted to the fantasy side and the DRAWN side of the product...

I think I'd be worried if someone just uses "Kawaii" in general, I hate it when people use it to describe something just out of randomness.

You might defend it as much as you want, fact of the matter is a big part of the attraction of Lolicon is the sexual attraction to underage/pubescent girls.

And just as a side note, Lolicon can in some cases be considered illegal if it's explicit.

And you seem to forget that perhaps people wouldn't go all "OH GOD SHE'S SO CUUUUTE" in public to a real girl because it's not socially acceptable, and they're not saying it over what is essentially an anonymous forum?

I'm not saying that a liking of Lolicon explicitly means you're a pedophile, far from it, but there are links to it.
