Favorite Mecha Design?

So im just starting to get into mecha on a series level, i haven't seen loads of mecha but before i get to the main point of this thread i will name what i have seen.

Macross
Macross 7
Macross Frontier - Ongoing
Reideen
Aquarion
Gundam movie trilogy
Gundam 00 - Ongoing
Eva

Thats about all ive seen, i know theres loads of classics and great series i haven't seen yet but i will get round to them, this isn't a suggestion thread but from the posts i will see what looks interesting to watch.
Basically i want to know what are your favorite mecha designs? The mecha doesn't have to be the strongest or anything like that just have a awesome design.

i really like mecha as well, ive seen several of the same as you, and many more, but not all of the ones you have seen

Gravion and Gravion Zewi were pretty good

That's the Genesic GaoGaiGar from GaoGaiGar Final. Which by the way is a very awesome series, and since you're looking for mecha shows anyway you should give it a try. Just keep in mind that the first season can be a bit repetitive since it's in a episodic, monster of the week format and wasn't meant to just be marathoned through in one or two days.

Onto the main topic. I always thought Dix-Neuf from Top wo Neare! 2 looked pretty awesome. I mean, how many other mecha out there look like they're built from nothing but thousands of metallic intertubes?

Oh yeah, and it has a cape too.
