well if we're just talking about designs then the ones from Vandread were pretty interesting

Th one in the spoiler tag i posted is from a anime called Zone of the Enders, ive never seen it before but the mech looks real slick.

That one is the Wing Zero Custom, its only in the Endless Waltz, I havent seen the OVA to know if it is in there, but its in the movie

Wow awesome pics Mercer ^-^ so is Endless Waltz just a movie with a OVA after?
That design really stands out to me, the wings on it are just ubber awesome.

I dont really have a favourite. Closest to favourite might be Full Metal Panic mechas, but they too lack something that Mechwarrior game series has:

Now how cool are those? Wish that someone made anime out of Mechwarrior series, that would be so badass.

What about Scaflowne? i've seen some chapters and they're mechas are not bad, i've heard the plot gets really good too, only problem with it imho is that it looks dramatic/soap operaish so far!:P.

Anyone ever heard of Megas XLR, a short lived series on Cartoon Network? It's pretty good show, laughs and references abound.

Basically it's just a giant robot, with a car for head! A 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible to be exact.

Recognize some of the weapons? Thought so...

Definitely the mech from Escaflowne was one of my faves...along with the Ship of Outlaw Star that went by the same name....

Megas XLR was awesome too...as well as Big O...
But nothing can beat the almighty Gigantor XD.
