after watching the movie i got confused both al and ed were in different world so if anyone have read the full metal manga can tell whether they are able to return from other side of gate. and also about the rumour that soon full metal alchemist new series will be coming is true or just a fake.

Yes the rumor is true,there will be a new series.

when the series ends at ep51,Ed is our world while Al is their world,and the movie "FMA:conqueror of shambala" re-units them,Ed travel back to his world to stop the "nazis" (lol,yeah) and then goes back to our world to close the gate,but Al goes with him,so at the end they are both together again ,in this world

The other world stuff never happened in the manga, the plot got completely different after some time from the first meeting of Creed.

Its been 3 years since the full metal alchemist series ended and the Manga is quite diferent compared to the anime. The conclusion shown in the movie afterwards is a final ending to the anime series which ends well with Alphonse and Edward ending up together again with Alphonse being cured back to his human form. I don't see why they should make another series or OVA seeing as it ended well the way it is.

I'm very concerned about the new series, if it does keep with the idea that they are in our world it can't really be called full metal ALCHEMIST anymore can it theres no alchemy, the movie in my opinuion was rather a let down from the series so I really hope they don't go that way and try to bring it back to the manga, it would be soooo much more interesting.

Well, my guess would be that the first few episodes take place in our world, until Ed and Al are forcibly thrown into their world and then a new plotline would take over, continuing where it left off before. I think that would make more sense, at least chronologically, than going back to the manga.

I have always thought that Ed and Al need to get back to their own world. I just hope that any new series lives up to the standards of the original one.
