i just dl most of the GITS seire and movies,just have a very important question.
Can some1 tell what is the chronological order of the serie and movies.???
i.e. GITS 1,GITS 2,GITS movie,GITS 3,GITS movie2 ... etc ...

Films and series are quite independent of each other, while series don't contain the Puppetmaster plot and Kusanagi is still part of the Secton 9.

So, when it comes to the chronology, I suggest

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. 2nd GIG

and after that, films:

Ghost in the Shell
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
Ghost In the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society

even though they were released in different order.

Although they still follow the plot line, Gits S2 picks up after movie one?
Meh confusing, just watching the tv series first and then the movies and youll be set.

I would go first with the first two movies, then the series and Solid State Society at the end.

The first movie has an old animation and was the first to come out, the second movie continues the story of the first.

Then it's SAC and SAC 2nd (no relations to the first two movies), and the movie Solid SS continues after the end of the series.

I have my own question about the end of the SAC
it's been over a year since I watched it but one part puzzles me
Remember when the minister was walking to his car about to go to court
to testify about the laughing man scandal he passes a mysterious guy who showed up for a few seconds near the start of the series
then he goes to open his car door his eyes widen and he gasps
I never got what happened there
like it never mentioned if he was assassinated or anything

It took me a while to figure out what scene you were talking about, that happened in the last episode of SAC

I hate it when they leave it to your imagination
he was the main witness
so if he went then the whole case probably collapsed
