I really enjoyed the first season and was eagerly awaiting this new season. So far it has been a little slow, but things picked up in episode 3.

For a second I thought Triela was a gonner. >_> That Pino guy is pretty skillful. I like his style prefering to use knives though. It sort of sets him apart ya know. Anyways, the plan to bomb that bridge looks like it is going to be the main focus of the story other than the feelings of the girls. I think they are going to go though a wide variety of emotions before this series draws to a close.

I'm downloading it, but not watching till it's finished.
But I saw a glimps of the 1st episode, and the girls seem younger then in the first season.

I picked up Gunslinger Girl manga like 2 weeks ago. Pino guy kept appearing. I am guessing the season 2 is dealing with that at the moment -.-
I loved the manga (Finished to 8th) more than the first anime season.

@Neuvil: Really? I would agree with Henrietta seeming a bit younger, but the rest seem older now to me. >_>

@White: The first season would have been better if it had a better ending. But they never really had a broad goal they were working towards and it was mostly charecter development. It seems there will be a diffinative thing they are trying to do/prevent in this season so I have high hopes. I really like the setting and the charecters, so I am hoping for a better plot and a more diffinative ending this time around.
