How long have you been into anime? - Page 2

i've been watching things like patlabor and dominon tank police since i was about 7, about 10 years ago. it's been on and off, but i guess i started reading manga and watching anime a lot for the past 6 years.
So About 8 years. estimation!

I wasent to big on anime for a while, i would tune into Adult swim and watch some anime on there sometimes blood+/ghost in the shell(recently watched all of GiTS:SAC and some of 2gig) and what ever else was running about the time i was watching. Watched some DBZ but like i said havent really watched all the episodes of them just tuned into them when i had the time so half the time i dident know what was going on.
Around 6months ago was when i really got into it when i started watching bleach, since then been looking for anime to watch to keep me busy till some kickass mmorpg comes out.

I watched a little when I was about 15-16, but I have only been really into it for the last couple years

Let's see if I'm correct I've been into anime since 1995 way back when I was 7 years old...the first anime I ever saw was sailor moon and because I thought the anime was pretty good I started watching more after more as the years passed...

I first thought of cartoons as the same as anime lol

Nope cartoon and anime aren't the same thing, cartoons are animated shows like batman, and spiderman, and anime is japanese made cartoons which are much better in my opinion...

been a fan since '95. I'm goin on 24 in the next month so about 13-14 years now. The first anime i loved was Ronin Warriors(Yoroiden-Samurai Troopers) and the original Dragonball when it first aired aired here in '95, but was taken off after the first season if i remember correctly.
