Metal gear solid the animation good or bad idea ???

What about it ? wold it bea good or bad idea ? Id like to know youre opinions ?
If Good: The story line , Characters, and even if youd lied to have Solid Snake/Big Boss the main Character....

I'm a HUGE and I mean HUGE Metal Gear Solid fan and I don't think I would ever want to have an MGS anime adaptation. So many of the things that make it great are dependent on the fact that it's a video game (ie, long codec conversations/interactivity/gameplay) that I don't know if I would enjoy it much as an anime.

Yes it's got an AMAZING story.. and characters that are just as amazing.. but I believe it's best left as it is.. a game. On top of everything.. the FULL MGS storyline spans for through about 9 years (that's not even counting the original "Metal Gear" games)... and unless they want to change the storyline around (which would suck more balls), it would feel kinda rushed through time as opposed to how long we have to wait for each game as "storyline time" passes.

Not saying that I hate the idea.. just that it isn't all that great. Adapting this game into an anime would be like adapting an anime into a live action movie.. which doesn't usually work out too well. If I want an anime produced by Kojimas team, I'd like something more related to the Zone of the Enders series again, except written and animated better than Idolo + Dolores, i.

...and yes I know that there are "plans" for a live action MGS movie.. I'm not too crazy about that idea either.

Im not sure if you heard what did two guys from France did , the made an movie script of MGS the movie and just for fun they sent it to UWE BOLL ( rings ani bells ?) ( FOR those who dont know h is the vorst Hollivood director of all time avery movie mado from a game mady by him sucks so hard its not even posibele) Uwe started to look for Producers and such then an email came to him SAING DONT YOU EVER THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am an HUGE fan too but id like it if it would be 13-24 eps there be lots of space for all the game charakteristick )id speciali love to see SNAKE crawl around in a box ) id actuali think it might work ....

Any other Comments ? anyone ?

If it was written by Kojima and drawn by the guy that did Cowboy Bebop I would be all over it.

I'll be honest the story is too big to be fit into a movie it could work as an anime
if it were a 50 episode one I repeat could I dont think it would for the simple reason
that the majority of the entertainment comes from the game play sneaking is an
essential part of metal gear solid if if you rely to jeavily on it in the anime it will
be boring if you dont do it enugh the anime will seem rushed and crap it's a razor
thin line and I dont think it is possible to hae the same impact in an anime that is
achieved with the game

The plot is a bit in depth to be truly understood by all. MGS centers around many itruiging ideals, it would be hard but i would watch it.

lsn no matter what the game is .... it all depends on the graphics and how good the directer can draw and the storyline has to be interesting ... so the directer has to be creative with the anime ... i like the game ... and it has alooota fans ... but that dsn mean that the anime will be as famous as the game ....

True True im sure there is a point in what Skullreken a borisxXx said even so i still manage to think tht if it vould be Vriten By kojima and if there wold be 13/25 episodes(50 is too much becous in the game snake doesnt arique more power ar train ar things like it ) it cold be grat i wold like to have the animation like in Afro Samurai or Hellsing, its justmine opinion... i realy do belive it vould WORK i might be crazy but you never know if you dont try ( Shrodingers Cat)

great idea imo. the bad guys always had these kinda super powers and personalities that just kinda seemed anime-like to me.
