Rep Power: 0  |  Naruto's Popularity Why is Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden one of the most popular anime series currently? My opinion of the anime is that it is not nothing special. The animation is decent, the action is repetitive, and the storyline is "lackluster". Despite my opinions Naruto is currently one of the most popular anime series now-a-days, and I fail to grasp why this is. I beilive it may have something to do with it airing on cartoonnetwork's "Tonami", Although I cannot be certain.

Rep Power: 0  | Well, look at it's fan base, it is one of the few anime shows that is exposed to the average kid watching tv. Alot of American kids on average, their anime viewing is pretty much what ever Cartoon Network/Adult Swim aires. They don't get many chances to see other shows and compare Naruto with anything else. Therefore they jump on it's bandwagon and make it popular. I for one like some aspects of it, but also dislike some, in fact I've been unimpressed with 2/3 of the anime shows I've been reccomended to watch.

Rep Power: 35  | I agree, I also believe its a lack of exposure to other animes. Personally, I still watch Shippuden when it comes out on a friday, same as I still watch Bleach on a thursday, since I enjoy both.

Rep Power: 1132    | Well yes.Naruto & shipuuden along with Bleach and One Piece are the most popular out there atm.They are typical shounen based anime,and have a long storyline and plot,with a wide viraety of characters and development.And thus one of the reasons why they are popular.

Rep Power: 80 | its not just because kids love ninjas, as aca said, naruto has a wide range of characters, so everyone can make up their own favorite.. naruto 1st season was a gem for the anime nowadays, characters develope nicely but when the time skip happens, the anime gets more and more spinned off and the character developement made it less enjoyable, But even though the manga has an awesome plot, with a nice cast of characters.. I mean, every character could have their own manga.. |

Rep Power: 0 | for me i think naruto is one of the best anime i have ever watched also Shippuden is good but ======= isnt that enough there is around 220 episode of naruto and 75 of Shippuden till now and he didnt even just got suaski or fight orchimaro yet so i think another 220 episode as in nartuo will make me sick unlike one piece i like it even if its 376 episode till now as i remmber cuz every time u got a new story not as in naruto also the one episode story they make it like 10 to get more episode numbers did anybody notice the ad that they made it in the end of the last episode on Shippuden this week that he need more viewer i think ppl start to get bored of it |
