Well i just finished with this anime.If you haven't watched it yet,then i suggest you do so.It's a good anime :) ...or is it ?^^ So when i begun to watch it,it was really funny especially the 1rst 4~6 ep's.Then it became more melodramatic and serious,it was ok,i like that kinda of change.But until ep22~23 i was really pissed-off!,really bad,a little bit at the general serie but more at Satou-kun,i really liked him in the beggining (cuz he reminded me of myself a bit),but with every ep i begun to despise him more and more,the reason? ... simple,him all together,cuz of the way he treated mikuro-chan,what's with that guy,i mean they were both head over heals for each other up untill he discovered that she was observing him be4 they met,and after that he treated her like she didin't exist,and just leeching of her,not even once did he say "arigatou" or "gomena" for anything! BASTARD! ... up untill ep 23 i wished he did jump off that cliff in the middle of the anime (cant remember the ep noumber).And finally came the end ep24,well i was really suprised that mikuro-chan was going to comitte suicide,and even more suprsed that he went after her and stoped her and said he loved her,  i teared up . . . but in the very end of the ep/anime, they we're still at the same position of their relationship,as 1 year ago,i was really hoping that there would be a romantic/pashionete kiss at the cliff scene (in ep 24) and that would be the end... that also pissed me off! ...well any thought ??? ...  p.s. if anybody who didnt' watch the anime and read what i wrote,sorry ...

I agree with everything you said but to a greater degree. The start was really great but the quality didn't last. It becomes all a bit too melodramatic and serious. That ruined it completely for me.

one of the best anime I have seen so far but as Ding pointed out it became melodramatic in the long run. The transformation of Satou-kun's hiki ways to a renewed man is well slow and filled with obstacles (especially when he turned his full attention to online gaming) I enjoyed it nonetheless

Ive seen the anime, read the manga and the novel. I love them all. I love the fact the the writer himself is a Hikikomori. He says he Hates and loves the book. Loved the suicide sub-plot in the anime. It sort of revesed itself by the time they got to the cliff:D Favourite line from the manga " my life is just a wank" satou
