Subbed or Dubbed?

Just woundering what the people of AnimeA like better.

I myself cant stand Dubbed anime, the voices thay give the characters sound so...wrong...

Lol people asked this alot here. =P anyway I'll say subbed because it's better voice actors then English. because in English it doesn't really fit it at all. >_> (Although I do like some Anime in English dubbed.)

Subbed! Always!
There're only few animes that aren't ruined by being dubbed. I watched Samurai Champloo with german dub and it's one of those few that have really good voice actors. It was a rare exception.

While I usually prefer subbed, there are a few series that have good dubs. I watched Cowboy Bebop, Elfen Lied, and Chobits in Dubbed and I enjoyed all of em.

I love subbed anime but a good dubbing i wont mind at all or if im just lazy.

@mods : i think we laready have like 5 of these thread? ... so why not wither close them,or make them into a sticky?

I mainly watch subbed due to two reasons. The first is that is that a large portion (80% or so) of everything I've watched were pretty fresh out of Japan and not distributed with dubs in NA yet, thus leaving subs as my only choice. The second is because most dubs are just vastly inferior to the original version with Japanese audio. Though in my opinion it's not because of the voices not matching as much as it's because of dubbing company's way of recording dubs. In Japan when they record the voices all the Seyiuu are all present in the same room. Where's with English dubbing they all do it separately and on different days, and often never even get to see or talk to any of the other voice actors. Which leads lots of the conversations to come off as dry or fake.

There are lots of good dubs that I really enjoyed like Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, and maybe Eureka Seven so I know it's not beyond these companies to actually make quality dubs. And if they'd churn out more of them than I'd probably start watching Adult Swim more. But until then, I'll stick with subs.

I mainly watch subs, cause the flow of the show seems to be better, ive watched a couple dubs and some of them are good, but when Im watching something, why not watch the original? the original is the best
