i watch a fair amount of dubbed anime, because my internet is crap, so i have to borrow out all of my anime on DVD from friends, or the video shop, but i prefer subbed.

Subbed, I'll watch an anime I saw subbed once in a while to compare or something. Although if it's a series I've first seen in dubbed (Gundam SEED) then I'll prefer it and any sequels to it in dubbed (Gundam SEED Destiny) due to the fact that I'll get used to the voices in English than Japanese.

Subbed! Beacuse the lip sync is MUCH better and the voice actors are usually top notch!

depends... sometimes the dubs are way better in my opinion and sometimes the original jap is better. i dont really care much about reading the subs if the series will be better/more enjoyable.

It seems as if everyone here prefers subbed. For me i prefer both..
Subbed, because it retains the real meaning of the anime and ofcourse good voice actors.
Dubbed, because i do not have to read. Just listen (cause i can only understand english not japanese)..Full Metal Panic is has one of the good dubbed anime while Tokyo Underground is one of the worst dubbed anime...

I have watched dubbed anime such as Wolf's Rain and Azumanga Daioh and they weren't half bad at all. Though they were also on my Anime On Demand channel or whatever that channel was (that they decided to take away now). Anyway, I would go with subbed since I download my anime and I find it rather irrational to download dub anime (if they even have it). If I was curious about the voices or I couldn't download the subbed anime, I suppose I could watch the dubbed version. It would be highly unlikely though because from my experience, there aren't enough decent dubbed anime because the voices were fitting or very amateurly done.

As long as i watched the whole series in the same format i dont care to much except sometime when you see that the dubs voices don't really go with the anime. Lately i watched more subbed because those are the one that are available first.

i prefer subbed.i can catch some japanese listening to it and i can be sure that they really subbed what the characters say.I found the ghost stories series dubbed and it was funny but i wanted to hear what they were really saying.and sometimes when dubbed they really get some stupid voices

I prefere subbed but there are good dubbed animes too I think the plus side of dubbs is that sometimes they have better music

I prefer subbed for most anime's but they are some exceptions like mirage of blaze the english dub was accually pretty good and samurai champloo wasn't bad in english
