Subbed or Dubbed? - Page 7

I'll go with subbed i like 2 hear the characters real voice...

subbed are almost always better,but sometimes there are dodgy subs an if you are a long time anime fun you actually understand some of the japanese and you see that subs give someting different.
As for dubs the only good dubs in english i encountered were for Fullmetal Panic and Paprika, other things were just plainly strange, also when a character speaks in some japanese accent (like kansai or old Eigo) and in english you have just another voice actor speaking in perfect english it ruins the conversation.(watch tenchy muo with english dub the original ova)

Lets see. . . . . in like 90 % of the cases i prefer subbed anime. . .the only animes until now i liked more dubbed are the DBZ and FULL METAL PANIC FUMOFU series. At full metal panic fumofu the most funny thing was when he was saying with that ironic voice: I WON!

depends subbed in english is good but dubbed in korean is deferent than dubbed in english^^

well it is but you are close to japan so why dont your countrys seyu have better understanding of what is hapening? I would undersand if some vietnamese dubs would be horrible but korean?

Good dubbing is usually always better. Especially when the Anime isn't set in Japan. Like Trigun, Gungrave, Berserk. etc.

But sometimes it still works great like in Ghost in the Shell SAC.

It goes both ways with the accents. The characters in Hellsing Ultimate actually sound their part with English, Italian and French accents.

yeah if it is a series with lot of budget, but some series goes with very low budget for dubbing and it goes completly nuts...
sometimes they even change the music and background sound and this makes it even worse...
butt with careful dubbing it is really good...
for example Full Metal Panic dubbing was excellent...
also for Macross Plus the dub was good...

I remembered another good dub in english...
Yu Yu Hakusho had excellent dub...
maybe...
I watched it a long time ago but i think dub was really good...

Duh, because subs are just better than dubs coz you can really hear how the character would sound like originally, and no lags
