Subbed or Dubbed? - Page 9

subtitles is way better than dubbing it. i've watched a naruto episode dubbed in english, it sucks. they say stuffs like san at the end of the name, niichan, ojisan. Have you watched an old chinese karate flick subbed in english?! lol. don't get me wrong, i love those old chinese films, in subtitles that is.

SUBBED IS THE ONLY WAY and i think that im learning japaneese for watching so much lol ;)

I'd say Subs... for obvious reasons...

But some dubs aren't bad... I didn't mind the FMA dub or the fruits basket dub... The subbed versions were better, but it wasn't a horrible experience like the One Piece dub D:

And there are a few anime that were made better by the dub (For example- Ghost Stories <<;)

Of course Subbed, because for me I really got a lot of Japanese words and now I know some of them which is so cool to learn other languages :D

I personally like dubbed anime better, because I don't have to look at it to understand what is being said :D

With that said, after I learn Japanese, I'll watch all Japanese dubs with no subs :)

Subbed. Very rarely do the dubs actually work.

I prefer subs, but there are some cases where I prefer the dubbed versions. One example of this would be Inu-Yasha. Thankfully, the dubs are way better than what they used to be...well, in most cases.

Subbed. It is just the way it's meant to be. listening to the characters speaking in english just sounds, well, wrong, as if it doesn't belong, because, honestly, it doesn't.

Subbed, without a doubt. The characters sound more lifelike and it just seems to suit it more, not to mention I'm almost learning Japanese by watching anime...almost. Not all dubbing is awful though - yu yu hakusho had decent dubbing, if only because Kuwabara sounds so funny.
