Are they bringing the Deathnote Movie English Dub version to America?

I know there realeeasing the movie on DVD over here on Sept. 16th of this year, but is this the Englsih subtitled version with Japanese voices, or is this the English dub they did for American theaters where they actually had the anime Voice actors do the Dub over voices?

mm i think that the movie is going to be dub and sub there, and hopes in spanish to :D

The DVD will have the option of English Audio & Japanese audio.

Same goes for Subtitles.

Indeed, what the man above said, but personally, I didn't like the live action film :/

They completely changed Light/Raito's character, didn't they?

That, and the actor they used for him (Of Battle Royale fame as Nanahara Shuya) seems to have 1 face for every emotion, all the time with the angsty-brat face for shock, dismay, anger etc.

jesus i hope the dont dub this in english(i thought they stopped dubbing live action movies in the late 80's). as for the movie itself i liked L ... the rest i could have done without.

It's a little bit too late dude lol. The movie has already been english dubbed and it has also already aired in theaters in USA/America english dubbed.

The movie will be coming/released to DVD September 16, 2008 in USA/America.

That's 15 days from now.

really? i never saw previews for it or anything. then again i do live in texas so im not sure a live acion death note release would stop the presses here.

True lol. If you really want real legitimate proof then just simply wait until it comes out on DVD in USA and rent it/buy it (and watch it I guess with english audio) ^_^.

Remember, the USA/American Release date is September 16, 2008.

pass lol. the original vesion wasnt good enough to warrant anther viewing in technicolor-american.
