What was THE anime for you?

What anime series or movie was it that got you hooked on anime?
Mine was Hellsing (tv series) After that i think i saw Trigun and that was it, i was hooked.

Trinity Blood would be mine. It was one of the first anime i ever really liked and it definitely got me hooked into anime.

Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex. I'm not the biggest fan of the original film, but I was really amazed by the series. Right after that I watched Cowboy Bebop and got addicted to anime xD

The original is certainly the best. I saw it years ago. Another movie I saw years ago was Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. The series that got me hooked was Gundam Wing, it was one of the best series I have ever seen

lol, yeah, original film is great [although I still prefere series =P], but if you just start watching anime, it can kill you. Just think about it - how long is the opening sequence? 15? 20 minutes? O.O Without practice, you won't make it xD
