what format you watch your anime

what is the format you usually watch anime on?

i usually watch it on .avi
but i do watch it on.rm/rmvb because my desktop is messed up so it can only play .rm/rmvb video files :p

I can't honestly think of a file format that I've seen recently that I can't play on my laptop o_0... no wonder it hates me

I usually watch it in rmvb format but the good ones I watch it on dvd burning it so that I will be able to sit down and relax

As long as my laptop plays it, I watch it ... so far most of my animes is in AVI format ... this is better for me because sometimes I convert it into DVD format and my converter only accepts AVI format ... most of my hentai animes are in rm/rmvb format (I don't know why), but have some in AVI format, too ... latest animes especially those shown in 2007 are in mkv format like Seto No Hanoyome, Gokusen Alice and School Days and other titles because the fansub group that I download it from only has the mkv format ... I also have some mp4 format because one fansub group used that to sub their series and also I convert some of my animes to watch on my psp which only accepts mp4 formats.

Most of my Animes are AVI but I make it a point to dl a file thats around 200 MB I find that anything below that normally has very poor quality. For example I the file for the last episode of claymore was about 130 MB it was crap the color scheme for the episode were was black and bright red because

the image was so blurry and the action was so fast that you couldn't make out anything

For me.. sometimes .mkv and sometimes .avi I don't use the same format everytime. >> but most of the time. .avi

no one likes rmvb except me =( xD well im trying to save up alot of disc space in my external drive the more I store the better (Btw I have around 123 gig plus of animes in the disc which are waiting to be viewed and rated) but as what ahnimay said the new ones comes in mkv and in avi even mp4 so it varies but most of the files I have are rmvbs (their quality are not that good)

actually I have some rmvb formats that are very high quality and as clear as AVI format but smaller file size ... I don't know how they make it so clear with smaller file size ... even the ones I convertered to rmvb is not as clear or if I retain the quality, the file size is still a little over 100 mb ... hmmmm
