Diana was walking down the street. It was early morning. Nobody was moving. It was complete silence. Diana liked silence. Almost all her life was spent in silence or in fighting places, where is too much noise. She was moving slowly. Her body was covered under a black cape. She looked mysterious but at the same time dealy and attractive. The town was already prapared for the festival in the evening. Evrything looked so bright and colourful it made her sick just by looking at it.
She passed a corner and saw some people. But they were no ordinary people. Their bodies emited a blue aura. Bio-humans huh. What are they doing here so early. Might be trouble in the evening. But I like trouble. This will be entertaining...
Diana stepped into an inn. It was empty, but she had already booked in here a while ago. She took her keys and went to her room.

Mara hissed silently and closed her eyes. No. This won't do it. She opened her blue eyes again and started looking only to the ground. The vampress hated sun, it made her blink and feel pregnable. Whatever. Pretend you are enjoying it. Mara was going to her new house and it was her first day in this town. She wore a black cloak with a hood and gloves, despite this, Mara could feel angry beams of sun touching her. Terrible feeling. Where is that? Damned house. I bought it just yesterday... I'm tired of these trips. But he said that the message must be here. Here... My key to the future.
Suddenly Mara saw a girl passing bye. She looked so self-confident, that Mara smiled. If she hadn't leant, you could have seen her long white canine teeth. I've seen her somwhere, haven't I? Damn, I can't remember. The girl went into an inn and after some time Mara exclaimed happily - the little house was just in front of her. The vampress smiled again, took the key and opened the door. Several fast steps and she was inside. Um.. It's not the end yet. Shit, I still have to find my coffin!

Diana was sitting by the window in her room. She folowed the person in black cape entering the house. I have a cute neighbour. Diana took off her cape and clinged the sword the the chair. She never left her home without it. Hard times, hard times... She looked at herself in the mirror. Her purple hair tied in the ponytail looked very neat. Her eyes were filled with hatred. Diana again glanced at the home before her. It reminded her of something, but she couln't remember.
Diana got up, took the sword and leaped on the bed. Sweet dreams Diana... She doze off. After a few seconds she started dreaming, but it wasn't a nice dream. It was a nigthmare.
*dream* Diana is holding her grandpas hand and looking at the burninghouse. She is seeing her parents on the ground. Blood is everywhere. Two figures are standing beside her parents...
Diana started screaming. "NO! DAD! MOM!" and woke up. She was spilled with cold sweat.

Kelvin was walking in the city. He was still injuried from his latest assigment but the regeneration had started to kick up. He decided to take a rest at local inn so he could heal his wounds. After walking for a while he hid his vampiric face features and went inside the inn. He took out his credit card and paid for the room. He took the given key and went to his room and fell on the bed. He kicked his boots from his legs, removed his cape and fell on sleep.

The train arrived at the Fyuki station and Kenji walked out. Dressed in his everyday leathers, with his daggers hidden in his bag and his boots still wet from the grass in his village. Some more people walked out of the train so Kenji thought he could ask for directions to find a hotel. "Sorry, do you know where I can find...". Nobody seemed to care, they didn't even look at him. What's with these people? he thought and walked out of the station. Stunned he stood there looking at the vast city for a while. It was his first time in a big city so he couldn't help being impressed, in a bad way. Humans are really the technology freaks. Now look at this place, it seems rotten. After walking around a bit he found a cheap hotel. The money he brought with him would last about a week, after that he needed a job. He checked in, took the key of his room and just went there. He put his stuff in the room and took his daggers from the bag, he was in the ghetto after all, he needed some kind of protection. He hid the dagger holders under his leather jacket and walked out. Lets see what this city really looks like.

Diana spent most of the night thinking. She didn't dare to sleep after the nightmare. It scared her too much. The pain was still there. Even now. Diana stood up and watched the sun rise. It was like a spectacle in this city. So many technology made it feel empty and dead. The suns playing on the mirrors made her blink mcuh. She never liked the sun much. But the festival was coming, so she had to get out and look for a job and look out for the ones he is looking. So many of us in this little world. And only 2 monsters are needed. I don't have so much time. I hope I can get a lead in the local library. She stood up, took her sword, few mini-guns and black cape. She knew she would stand out in the crowd, but the humans of this world don't stick their noses into other persons business, so she was glad. She locked her doors and went out of the inn. She made a glance to the house in front and made her way to the city. After she reached an alley she jumped onto the roof of the house and made her way to the centre. Her great speed and power made her almost invisible to humans, but she could feel, that the other ones can see her. And there are lots of them coming to this town this moment. Something big will happen. I hope it won't involve me.

Mara was lying in her coffin looking to the ceiling and thinking. About many things, such as death of her parents and the beginning of her new life. They were good to me. All in all they were my parents. And now I know they were vampires too, but it is not very important, is it? I mean... They are dead. Mara didn't cry. Sometimes she thought that she had forgotten how to. She opened her eyes, but saw nothing but darkness. Nevermind. I have my life now and I must do everything to keep it in my own hands. But dreams and visions did not care about her feelings. All in all she was just a vampress...
...5 years old Mara is sitting on the roof and watching the sun going down. Smiling and chasing birds together with her cat, Eslinia. Kissing her mum and laughing out loud. Her dad has just said a joke and it seemed so funny. She is seventeen. Common teenager with her dream of becoming a witch. A huge book and tears after understanding that she can't remember any spell...
'No! Not again'- muttered she but they did not obey. They never did.
...Still seventeen. Parents a screaming. There were too many of them! And they did not have their power. An old man with a huge shining sword. Blood. Screams...
Mara closed her eyes. Again. But she didn't. She didn't cry.
...She comes outside. Several thoughts about upcomming funeral. Suddenly... The sun appears to be so hot, so burning! Mara screams and runs inside. She feels sick. Looks at the mirror. Nothing. Nada. No face, no girl in the mirror. Just a frightened vampress in the middle of the room.
Mara smiled. It wasn't funny, she knew. But she couldn't help. 'How could they?'- asked she loudly, for she was alone in the room. 'I mean - how was it possible, that from comming to life since seventeen I didn't even know I was a vampress? And only after their death...'
Mara hissed and licked her long teeth. Oh, I'm tired. No! I am not. I am hungry! No, this is not true. I am thirsty, Again. Damn it all to hell.

Diana stopped on the roof of the tallest building in the street. She looked around for library. She couldn't see any around. She again started jumping from roof to roof. She didn't see anything. After a while she stoped and saw a big old white building. "Central Fyuki library". She slowed her movement and jumped into the street. She didn't hurry there. She entered the library and looked around. She went to the information centre and started filling her registration form.

Mara yawned and stretched, feeling half alive, half dead.
'Yeah, I'd better get up and try to find something... Drinkable. Someone drinkable. Well, whatever...'- she stood up and striked her head against the top of a coffin. 'Ow! Again! Oh, I'll never accustom...'
The coffin wasn't necessary for her to stay alive as old tales say, but Mara felt that it was like an important talisman she wouldn't like to lose. She also felt she was safe there, safe from everything and everyone, from any dash, from any person...
'Riiiiiinnnnnnnng!'- Mara's mobile phone started hooping and juddering somewhere outside her coffin. 'Oh no. Oh no!!! Oh no no no. Again. Please, let it be uncle.'
Vampress lifted the cover and creeped out. The telephone was still ringing, loudly and angrily. Mara felt she is getting paler and paler though it could have seemed impossible. She stretched her hand and took the phone. The hand was shivering. Vampress didn't look into the screen. As long as her intuition was allright, she could guess who was calling.
'Hello?'- Mara asked. Her voice was shivering too.
'Ah, you are scared. Already.'- the voice was very soft and cold. And calm. Male voice.
'Well, I face I am. Shouldn't I?'- Mara tried to speak as calm as he did, but her endeavour was pitiable. 'Any moment I can be killed,- muttered she. 'And to be precise - killed by you.'
A little energy bolt appeared from a thin air and hit the floor. His energy was dark and cold. Had always been.
'I missed'. You could feel irony in his voice. Mara started speaking.
'What do you think you?..'
'Less of that,- he said in a very calm voice but Mara felt she might fall down in a faint right now.
'Listen to me. Don't even try to be lazy. Now go out and continue your mission. You will understand what to do. Or...' The voice ceased and Mara despairingly closed her eyes, feeling lost. This man, a vampire, started calling her right after the death of her parents. And he will never leave her alone, she knew. He could see her anywhere. I hope, he recoils from me when I'm in a bathroom. I really hope. Once he almost killed her, his energy bolt hit her left hand. There still was a scar. Mara thought he was a maniac, but she knew she was wrong. He was wiser than she, his mind was cold and clear. And he also was more powerful. She even guessed he enjoyed acting as a maniac.
Mara never feared death as long as it came in a battle. But like this... Knowing she was pregnable and lost... No.
Vampress sighed and opened her eyes.
'I am thirsty...'
