Mafia scum variation: Death Note!

Its like the RP game Mafia, but DEATH NOTE STYLE!

In this version, there are only 4 roles(to keep things simple):
Investigator
L
Kira
Watari

Basically, L is on the investigators side, and Kira is trying to kill the investigators.
Both L and Kira are hiding amongst the investigators though, so it could be ANYONE!

Names/Roles:
Each player will get a name and a role. The role decides what you can do. The name is the person you are playing as, which you must not tell to anyone. The only way for Kira to kill someone is if he can match up the right name with the right player.
So lets say we have player A. Player A's name is "Matsuda". For Kira to kill Player A, he has to PM the host saying "Player A, Matsuda." and then Player A will be dead in the next day. However, if Kira says "Player B, Matsuda", and Player B is not Matsuda, then noone dies.

Day/Night stages:
Pretty much like normal Mafia, with some differences.
During the Day stage, investigators vote upon who they think is Kira. The person they think is kira will be investigated. When someone is investigated, everyone on the investigation team finds out that player's name, NOT THEIR ROLE.
To find out someone's role, L must arrest a player. The arrested player's role will be revealed.

Night stage is where L and Kira have their battle. People with L/Kira roles send their actions to the host. They can only use 1 action, and can choose to not use their action for that night.
Noone may post during the Night stage.



Investigator role:
The investigators are L's minions. All they can do is vote on who they think is Kira during the day stage. No night time actions.
Some investigators are given the names of fellow players,

The investigators win when Kira is captured.

Watari role:
Watari is just a normal investigator role.
However, Watari knows L's name. So if Kira kills Watari and has his bonus available, he can get L's name.
L and Watari both know which player the other is.

Kira role:
Kira is pretty much the bad guy trying to kill L.
Kira's name and player is a secret to everyone except Kira.
Kira can also vote on who he thinks is Kira. TEEHEE.


There are 2 ways for Kira to win:
-Kill L
-Become L

Night time actions for this role:
-Kira can kill people, but only if he knows their name the player using that name. Also, he can only kill once per day.
Bonus: Kira can also find out the name of another investigator that the victim knew the name of. However, the bonus can only be used once every two days after using it.

-If Kira is afraid that he may get captured, he can give up the Death Note and pass it on to another player. But, if he does this, he gives up the role of Kira and just becomes a regular investigator. The player that receives the Death Note becomes the new Kira.
HOWEVER:
Kira cannot give up the Death Note if he is being investigated.
The recipient of the Death Note will be told the name of the previous Kira, so watchout.
If the player who has the role of L is the recipient of the Death Note, Kira loses.

L role:
L is trying to catch Kira.
L's name and player is a secret to everyone, except Watari.

L wins when Kira is arrested.

Night time actions for this role:
-L can send messages through the host to everyone in the investigation team. Kira cannot get these messages though.
-L can name anyone in the game as a Successor. The person named as a successor will get the role of L if L dies. L can change his decision whenever he wants.
HOWEVER:
The person who L names as a successor still has the same name they had before they became L.
If L does not name a successor OR the successor he named was kira, then Kira wins when L dies.
The new L does not get a Watari.
-L can choose to arrest someone as Kira. The person L chooses to arrest will have their name and role revealed. If the person arrested actually is Kira, L wins. If its an investigator, then L loses the chance to arrest someone for two days. L can only use this ability if he knows the player's name.


Death
Players who die can no longer post in the RP. So please, stay dead.



Also: Please, for the love of all that is good and holy, do not talk about what goes on in this topic ANYWHERE ELSE except for this topic or the PMs to the host. Definately do not talk to other players outside of the game. Even if their dead. You'll spoil the game. When the game is finished, THEN you can discuss it.

We need about, 10 people to start the game. Once the game starts, no more people can join. So, if you join, please, stay and play the game.
