ok, the title was ColaManiac's idea, full credit to him for title. Um... im just gonna post wat we had on the last one....so, ya.


~story starts~

It had been a long day at the shelter. Bakuda, the black bear was causing trouble, and the Kirachi no Oomiku was fighting (and winning against) a pack mate, and the birds were just terrible. She sighed as another bird dropping plopped on her skater hat that was pulled down to just above her eye brows.
"Stupido pajaro" She grumbled, as she happily marched out of the cage. Her shift was finally over. Before she left, she went over to Bakuda to say good bye.
"Bye, Bakuda, i'll see you tomorrow." She walked away.

Tom was bored and hungry, few people had given him money that day (he lives by asking for money to people in the street) so he could only eat 1 bread for breakfast and lunch. He went near the "Ozuma shelter" trying to see if he could steal some food there, then he saw a girl leaving the place.
"Hmmm... this could get interesting" Both his hunger and his anxiety for excitement made him run towards the girl and steal her bag, then he continued running as fast as he could.
"Sorry ^^!!! That’s life! HAHAH!" he then kept on running.
"You fricken bitch!! You get back here!!!" She screamed running after the boy with a kitchen knife she had from the shelter, which she forgot to put back. “I’ll kill you!!!"
Tom looked at the knife and thought about using his sword, but then he realized she was just a small girl, he wasn't cruel so he couldn't do it.
"OK wait wait!" he stopped. "Sorry, I’m just bored... and really hungry...". He looked at her sincerely and said "I really don't have anywhere to go, is there a chance i can stay on the shelter?... I can clean! ^^". He smiled.
"You can stay at my house...I guess... I hope Inuki-san won't mind..." She stared at the boy. "First give me my bag back. We can get some ramen on the way."
He handed her her bag, and they began walking. At first very quietly, then she took out her IPod and began singing.
"Hey! i actually know that song". Tom started singing with her. "And who's this Inuki-San? Is she good looking?" "Good i love Ramen! But I don't have any money... I hope you can pay for mine!" Tom put his arm around Ami and kept on walking. He was glad that he finally met a friend since the day he scaped.
"Um....Ya....Inuki-san is a guy....^^'''heheh..." She sighed as she refrained from totally destroying the guy. She went into her library of song, and found this one:

"This one makes me feel like dancin'" She said, looking up into the darkening sky. "Rain, rain, i love pain. Hope you come another day." She smiled as she felt the drops become more frequent, and they soon became soaked.
"I really hope you have extra clothes, or mine might fit you." She glanced down at her over sized clothes she had gotten in the men’s section of the mall. They should fit." She concluded, as she spotted the ramen shop.

"Uhh!! i think my clothes will be fine hahaha!". He said while laughing nervously, the idea of wearing girl's clothes didn't excited him at all.

"So... what's the catch? what do i have to do in order to stay at your house?..." ..."Can't wait for the ramen!". His stomach started making weird sounds.

"Haha..." She smiled lightly, on her other wise cold and emotionless face. She sat down and ordered."What would you like?" She asked him as he sat down next to her. She looked up, her face emotionless, still.

"ANYTHING BIG!!!". Tom was really hungry, he hadn't been in a restaurant since he scaped home, unless it was to steal some food. "WAITER! WAITER! BRING ME THE BIGGEST DISH YOU HAVE HERE!!!!".Then he looked at ami and said: "I hope you have money, CAUSE I'M GONNA EAT EVERYTHING!!!".

"I think i'll just have some onigiri." She looked at Tom slightly amused.

Tom ate really fast, he ate like 10 dishes of different kinds of food and was finally full, his belly swollen. "Wow... i need to rest before we can go, i want to know about you, what's your background?". He said while trying to recover from the over-eating.

Ami bit into her onigiri. "My parents abandoned me when i was little. I'm from the US." Ami stared at her onigiri. She got up. "If we stay any longer, we'll get stuck in lightning." She began to walk away.

Tom was waling besides her. "Wowi'm sorry to hear that... i scaped home so i guess we have something in common. I haven't seen my parents in so long... We should change subjects! i don't wanna get sad, what are you going to do with me?"

"I'm going to leave you if you don't move you're lazy ass." She was far away from him now, looking up into the rain, singing quietly."stand in the rain....stand your ground....stand through the pain you won't drown...stand up when it's all crashing down.." Tears streamed down her face. She hadn't cried in years, letting it all out now.

"Wait for me!!!" Tom ran until he was besides her again. "Phew! i'm out of shape!". He then noticed the tears that came out of her eyes. "What's wrong?. Don't Cry, i hate seeing people cry." Tom hugged Ami strongly and a single tear came out of his left eye.
