Diana easily avoided the shattering blade. She looked up at the girl. She swung her sword and blood spilled all over the place from the sword. It seemed as i caries so much inside of it. Diana jumped and vanished. Her great speed made her invisible to any eye. She jumped behind the girl and whispered 'I'll let you go this time lady. I have some bussiness to take care first before i can start killing again. I am also an orphan. Your kind killed my parents in front of my eyes. This is something I will never forget or forgive. So be gone little lady. This is not the time and place for this. I have no time to play around with little kids." I need to visit him. If i keep up fighting this might get ugly. I might loose myself and kill everyone at the city. This won't do good for hunters reputation. I'll retreat for now. She jumped and apeared in front of the girl again. Her blade was already hidden her eyes and hair back to theyr normal self. "Bye bye. Have a good festival. This might be your last" Diana narowed her eyes and jumped from the building. She dissapeared into the crowd. She left the girl named Tina and Mara. She dashed thought the streets and vanished in the crowd.

Tiba stops. Sighing, 'what a shame, hm....milady, I apologize for this girl to assault you suddenly, she has......problems. She doesn't know anything about supreme or anything, Tiba's mind is a bit...messed up, I'm sure she'll never sees anyone of her kind as a enemy, she causes alot of trouble....but I must ask....why were you with a vampire hunter? I can tell you're a pureblood, you power surpasses both me and Tiba here, I hope you weren't going to betray our kind by giving out info about us.' She looks up into the night sky. 'a festival...same to you vampire huntress....same to you.'

Felicia came walking into the city. She tried to ignore dirty looks she would get as she was wearing a short yellow and pink dress, her hair was a bit curly, and pink too. She stopped infront of some children and started showing them some magic tricks, like a small teleportation trick where she teleported an egg from one position to another, she had of course no idea there were vampires in this city, she thought they were all dead because of vampire hunters. She let out a soft sigh and continued walking into the city, she needed a place to sleep, so of course that was her only choice, though, being the klutz she was she managed to trip as soon as she took even one step...

Night had fallen and as planned by the event organizers, the sky was filled with the most brilliant display of stars. They shone down serenely, overlooking the happy chaos that was the festival. It was a night where you could see past forever, and yet live tonight as if it were your last.

Khy checked his pocket watch against the clock in the main square again. "Eight fifty-five..." He smiled, by this time tomorrow morning, he would be having breakfast... in bed... with her...

“Penny for your thoughts?” a female voice broke him out of his reverie. Khy turned around to see his date for the evening, Sara Auf, a beautiful girl with hair the color of sunset, and eyes the color of jade. She was wearing a neophyte styled kimono. She smiled at him, turning around, modeling the exquisite gown, hoping for his approval.

“You like? I hope you didn't mind waiting...”

Khy shook himself back to reality, his mind having wandered to places where 16 year olds shouldn't go, but can't help themselves not to. Khy's words stuck in his throat, eliciting a bubbly giggle from the girl. Khy tried again, “You are worth every second I've ever waited.”

She playfully bopped him on the nose, as she took his arm in hers. “Flatterer. You just want to...” she trailed off, giving him a knowing look. Her laughter tinkled like bells and to Khy, it was the only memory he'd ever remember of this night.

The clock in the main square began to ring. Nine o'clock. The crowd turned their attention to the center of the square. Rows upon rows of tables were arranged in a circle facing in, the banquet was about to begin. The mayor stood up and cleared his throat as he waited for the clock's chime to sound out.

Six rings. Seven. Eight.

No one heard the ninth ring. Not over the explosion that erupted from under the mayor's table. It was a moment of pure stunned silence, the large collective intake of air as the bomb exploded. It lasted a split second, replaced with horrified screams as everyone realized what was going on.

Khy turned towards Sara, her face frozen in shock. Her eyes revealed the panic she felt, the numbing sensation of utter fear. He called out to her, but she didn't respond. Forcefully, Khy dragged her away to safety.

“Look out!” Khy heard someone scream, but he didn't think it was meant for him. He didn't see the large metal table fly in his direction until it hit him in the head.

Fire. There was fire everywhere. Hot tongues of liquid heat fell from the sky, burning all it rained on, killing whom it fell on.

"The gas lines..." That was the only thought Khy had as he struggled to his feet. How long had he been out? It only seemed a few seconds ago he was busy... doing what? Running? No, he was with someone...

Khy got to his feet or he tried to. The world swam in front of his eyes, so he shut them. He held his head. It was wet. Khy looked at his hand. It was crimson. Blood. Khy felt his eyes shutting again. He was so sleepy.

Instead he managed to get to his feet, but for a brief instant it looked like he might not stay on them. He stumbled, staggered then steadied himself before looking up. He scanned the scene slowly – anything faster and the spinning would have sent him back to his knees. He wiped the blood away from his eyes.It was really flowing down.

The festival square looked like a war had passed through it. The marble fountains and statues were destroyed, the cobblestone square uprooted. In the center, the ground had exploded up, and it sat like a flower of death in full bloom. The number of bodies lying next to it only served to confirm the devastation the landscape showed.

“Sara...?” Khy called, unsure why he was doing so. He had to get rid of his injuries. Khy remembered – cure potions! Khy wiped his bloodstained hand against the front of his tunic. It was going to be hell to get the stain out. He then thrusted his hand into his pocket, looking for the pocket watch. And came up with nothing.

Khy searched all his pockets again, this time with more urgency but with no success. His pocket watch – he couldn't use alchemy without it. It had to be here somewhere. Khy got on his hands and knees and searched the ground frantically, trying to find the transfiguration device. It had to be here!

“Looking for something?”

The cold steely voice froze Khy in his tracks. He looked up slowly and in the shadow saw the shape of a man looking at him. Khy didn' t respond – he didn't know how to. The man stepped out of the shadows. That's when Khy noticed the man's sword, and the blood dripping off its blade. The man smiled. The smile was not a kind smile. It was not a happy smile. It was the smile of a predator with a prey in his sights.

“Like I said, looking for something, alchemist?”

((Khy's Location: Festival Square, Fyuki City. The man he's facing -- is undecided as yet. I'm hoping it'll be one of the other human characters. However, if no one wants to pick it up, then I'll make him another side character -- one of the hunters, rather than someone who we quest with. And Sara Auf is no main character, nor will Khy remember her. He's lost her forever.))

Mara smiled, looking a bit weary.
'My dear, you must be hurt. Don't be afraid of me... I am not as powerful as I look like,'- sighed she, looking at the groung beneath her. Suiddenly she felt that it would be a wonderful thing - to sit down. And she did so. Mara was not wondering why she was doing it. Why didn't she leave with Diana?
Well, I could. But she is a vampress too and I'm not leaving her alone here. Her mind seems messed up, it does. My heart hurts. Too.
Mara smiled again.
'You know, it is quite hard for me to understand to whom I'm talking... I mean - you are Tiba, aren't you? A nice name.' Damn, why every name must be a nice one?.. 'I'm talking to you, Tiba, for I see you here. I see your body, your eyes. And I want to cry, you know? For I imagine how beautiful they could be if there was no war. That's why I'm fighting. Or trying to. And you? Who are you, inside her body? When I was a little girl, my parents told me, that no one can have two souls in only one body. Where is your body? I want to know.'
Pale blue Mara's eyes looked at Tiba. She needed to know.
'And if you are lonely here, you may come with me. Why not?..'

'hm? Well, for now, Tiba has calmed down' She walks next to Mara, sitting down. 'you see...Tiba has a one way mind, she hasn't found another direction, Shatter....who I'm called by, is her weapon and her supresser. I've been trying to keep her from causing trouble, but....things must go as they set.' Shatter... 'she's really hurt, I can definetly see the wounds on her whole body. I figure that she's weak, very tired, though...she ignores everything, it makes me want to cry.' She sheathes her sword placing it beside her.

Mara sighed again, then closed her tired eyes, feeling fresh night air around. It was so great to sit, to feel plain ground beneath her, to know, that if she opens her eyes, Mara might see the moon hanging above... Vampress felt calm, at last.
There was a loud low sound comming from somwhere quite near. It seemed as if it was an explosion. The ground trembled, and Mara felt, that she'd better stand up. And did so.
'Tiba Shatter. I will call you so now, but I still hope I may be able to help you... Both of you. But now - stand up, quickly!'- Mara streched her hand to vapmress and helped her to stand up. Looking at her she felt the pain again. This shouldn't have happened.
'I suppose something's going on in the city centre. Will you be able to walk? If not, have you got a cape for flying? I have mine, but I'm not sure if it might carry you and me.'
Mara tilted her head.
'But you are really hurt. Wait, I'll try...'- vampress streched her hands and entwined Tina's palms in them. Little sparks came from nowhere and they were purple. Mara sighed. She understood it finally - that man had too much blood and she had too much energy to feel normal. but now it was OK. Little sparks were bustling on Tina's body making wounds stop bleeding.
'It's a pity I can't do it to myself',- smiled she.

'oh...wait...it sounds as if you're giving out your life, you- Urgh!' Tiba's eyes began to change from yellow to red, reverting to her usual self. 'Shatter's pain...' She stood up looking at Mara, Shaking her head. 'I shall walk...gratitude for recovering me...but I have no use of the pain, we shall head towards the city centre to investigate the cause...' She begins to walk. T...Tiba dear....you should....ugh....you should stay with her. '...reserve your strength Shatter....Shatter's life isn't going to be extiguish.' Tiba looks back to Mara unemotionally. 'Shall we get going?'

Mara closed her eyes. Her mobile was ringing. Again.
Damn it. Damn, damn it.
She took the phone and pressed 'answer' button, than said hello. Nothing but silence. But she could see a number on the screen. And she recognized it.
Oh no. Oh no! I'm damned fool. Of ourse it even wasn't here! Shit, I must...
'Tiba, you shall get going. And I hope we will meet in that festival, but now I've remembered... I mean, I have to go somwhere else first.'- Mara sighed.
'And I shall get flying,'- she smiled, took her cape and put it on. She felt she was rising up. 'See you!'- waved vampress and in a minute she was gone, leaving dark pavement and Tiba on it.

Tiba watches Mara fly away, she turns and jumps up to a building. She then heads towards the city centre see what's going on, jumping from building to building. '.....festival....' Tiba dear....I need to sleep for awhile, it seems that your wounds has been transfered to me. Oh, and by the way, there are several lives around that are in a brink that must be destroyed...can you be a good girl and locate them, just locate...do not kill. Mmkay? '.......understood.' She stops, walking at a corner of a building, visible to people around it, she looks around searching for the powerful beings. Spotting a strange dressed girl, though she's dressed and a unique way, she seems like one of the unique life she was ordered to locate. '...' She spots another person, but his life looks as if it's in danger. '...alchemist...another life....trying to take that life away.' She continues her search for other beings, sensing Diana's life. 'the life that must be destroyed....is getting far away....'
