| Otaku Mastah!>.< | I have a five years backwards and forward rule, it has never failed me ^^! i think more than 5 might be taking it a little to the extreme but you know if i fell for someone really older or acceptably younger i really wouldn't mind as long as she falls for me too, like i wouldn't pressure her :). |

| Justa lil' Skitzo | Check your math I dont age double compared to her, besides age is not important to us. Most people, when looking at us , can't tell the age difference. She thought I was close to her age when she introduced herself to me. The only age issue in age gap relationships are the issues of people looking in on the relationship from the outside.

She's 40 and he's 65, that still is pretty old, but my uncle is 60 and his wife is about 74, but thats there choice, his other wife died, because her sister was mutilated by her husband. But anyways it is up to them, but I'm saying that it is sort of underage, if you go back to the past, then she's 5, and he's 25. now thats kind of creepy. and if you put 40 and 65 isn't that the same standards? But thats just me, good debate guys, it's interesting. | |

Rep Power: 28 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Credits: 903 | I'll post again... ^__^ age does matter to some and to a certain point... let's face it, the state of your relationship pre and post marriage will be very different couple of years later... when one is old and wrinkling while the other is still around early adulthood. and we change when we get older, ideals are reshaped... what used to be satisfying for you at 20 may be hated at 40. but... some married people with huge age gaps last forever while there are same-aged married couples who split up after a few years. I'm not saying that we should go look for someone older or younger or anything. I guess, if you're compatible with someone, and you understand each other better, well, the age doesn't matter. afterall, it's just a number. yes, you may "grow" after 10 years or so, but if you're going to grow as a couple, then I don't think the relationship will go to waste because neither will be left out.

| Bélias | I don't think it’s a big deal as long as a minor isn't involved. If two people love each other I don't see how it’s a bad thing. It doesn't matter what age they are. It's just a number. Love can happen to anyone at any age, but then again you don’t want over 70 year old ppl going out with 16 year old girls. Well these days I have noticed that young girls attend to go out with older males. The reason is that, mostly older men are rich, and they (younger girls) know that old men will die soon enough. so basically when they will die, the girls will get all their wealth. This is what I have noticed in most cases. |
