the whole pork thing is not a contradiction it is a revision. not eating "unclean" animals was part of the Pentateuch also called the Law of Moses.

I am a Christian for 2 years now, and i quite enjoy being a christian.
But....im not those "crazy" christians who follow the bible all the time.
Sometimes its just moral values and one indivudals sets for themselves.

Like personally i think its wrong to get drunk all the time or do drugs. I don't do it because the bible says i cant, i just dont do it...because to me its wrong. That's it.

I'm Christian (Roman Catholic to be exact) but I don't really stick to every word written in the bible. I don't attend mass every Sunday. Neither do I practice blind obedience to priests/ministers. I prefer calling myself a "Rational Catholic". I use my mind... it's God's gift, too, right?
I uber agree with chieko: do what makes you happy as long as you aren't hurting anyone doesn't really matter if you're Catholic, Atheist, Scientologist, Muslim, etc.. etc..

lol ive been a chatholic, a christian, a wiccan, a satanist, a deist and an agnostic lol i guess none of them really suit me. so im currently an atheist. :]

i am an athiest, Christianity along with every other religion is nothing but fairy tales! I was raised a Catholic but i grew up to understand the truth and not the lies they were feeding me

same story here Fury. went to Catholic grade school, HS, and now college, been an altar server, usher, and eucharistic minister, then somewhere along the way i realized it was all a sham :(
though i guess the only thing that's changed is i stopped saying my prayers at night :P

wow... I studied in Catholic schools, too... and I also figured somewhere along the way how much of a sham it was... well, I guess it's their -- the institution's -- fault. most of the "non-believers" I've met or spoken to used to study in Catholic schools at somepoint in their lives.

I am an orthodox christian.
I find my self doing alot of questioning about the scriptures...
Sometimes I wonder If jesus was real ...
Sometimes I wonder if God didn't just create us.

Well Im Catholic and ive been living with my religion being catholic just fine the way it is. Sometimes I have to attend mass every weekend seeing as it's sometimes a part of being catholic is to go to mass and pray for god even when im on holidays.

However I don't really pray everyday except in church rarely seeing as i don't seem to have the time to, nor do i feel like it sometimes.

And also, to me I believe in God and Jesus seeing as God did create us from what the bible says, as well as its normal to see that there are people who believed that their is no God as well as Jesus isn't real.

True, I too also wonder if God created anything else after the seven days of creation as well as what idea got people to believe in God in the first place in regards to whether the stories of jesus and god were true or not.
